I'm not making an accusation. It's a well known opinion. There are no clear facts suggesting they didn't tank. There are facts suggesting they did.
Exactly.
The Warriors were in real danger of losing the finale that year to the Spurs because they were sitting the big 3 so what did the Warriors do? Started 5 rookies: http://espn.go.com/nba/recap?id=320426009 - There's nothing you can say that will convince me they wanted to win that game.
So how about the game before that against the Hornets? They were in real danger of winning that one. Up 3 after 3 quarters, so what did they do? Oh yeah, "Warriors rookie Klay Thompson had a team-high 16 points through three quarters but was benched for the fourth by rookie coach Mark Jackson." (http://espn.go.com/nba/recap?id=320424009)
Look, I don't know what you're deal is, maybe you don't like me, maybe you refuse to admit that tanking goes on in the NBA, or maybe you think Mark Jackson (the guy that cheated on his wife) is way too much of a stand up guy to do such a thing... there's just too much actual evidence suggesting they did lose games on purpose.
So there you go, that's me arguing the facts. You may now return to your regular eyeroll, RDR.
