the only good thing was that dragic didn't play 40 mins :( but as soon as he goes to the bench, everything goes to ****

but without bledsoe the offense works differently, some of the running and speed is gone and they use more time to get a play going ...........

I'm away from home and couldn't watch the game. I hate playing the grizzlies.

Teams need to be very careful this offseason with some of these per-36 wonders like Ed Davis and Jordan Hill that have a standout game once every 5-6 games. They're nothing but teases and bad contracts waiting to happen.

Yea I have noticed this as well. I think it's probably cause he's still getting used to the plays and players.

He tries to score on put backs as if he's 7'2. He barely gets up off the court and is so slow putting the shot up that it's easy to get blocked.

I wish he would kick it out cause usually there's a guy open outside.

And how many wide open 3s has he bricked so far?

He's starting to show why nobody in the NBA wanted him til Blanks signed him....undersized, lack of athleticism and little to no skill offensively. Not like he's young either so this is pretty much his ceiling.

I love the hustle and grit but this is the NBA, you need more than just that imo.

No, I made a thread. Sounds like it was earlier in the season.

I'm guessing when the Asik trade stuff was going on, the Suns were trying to send Frye to Houston and somehow get back Thad Young, by perhaps sending a pick to Philly and one to Houston or something like that.

I'm sure Houston would prefer Thad to Frye so for it to work for both teams, I imagine Houston would have needed a pick. But I also don't think Philly would have necessarily wanted Asik, so their was likely a potential fourth team involved.

This is obviously all speculation on my part, but we have heard rumblings now that we were trying to trade for Young during the Asik talk (albeit as JDLAW mentioned this source might not be the most reliable) and now we've heard we were trying to trade Frye to Houston around the same time, but not to get bask Asik.

That's a very good call. Frye would fit like a glove as their PF. If we begin to flounder over the next few weeks, I wonder if McDonough will consider dealing him

I'll just say that PJ has been one of the key reasons as to why we've been so good this season.

If we could upgrade at Tucker's position we would be much better. Just saying.
I am such a lucky NBA fan. 8647 My favorite team went from the most greedy and racist owner to the most ego driven dumbass owner in all of sports fdt.

when the game is going on, the overreactions are normal, but after the game?

win some, lose some, guys. and they are winning more than losing.

you just have to remind yourself every game how this team was suppose to suck donkey balls and no matter what happens next, this season is already a very nice cornerstone for the future.

Its not even that this team hasn't had one impressive game since dec 31st.

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

^this. I love Tucker's hustle, rebounding, strength and grit but I do feel he is a big time liability offensively. Such a limited scorer, not a very good passer and his offensive rebounds go to waste cause he tries to put it back up instead of kicking it back out and because he doesn't jump and cause he's undersized, he gets it blocked or just plain misses.

Defenses are also leaving him open from 3 and he isn't making them pay.

I think we need upgrades at both forward spots cause our current forwards are more suited to come off the bench.

The impact of PJ's hustle, in terms of extra possessions, goes awy beyond offensive rebouding, even if he missed every second chance he produces (which is not the case either).

Also, isn't Tucker making enough of his 3pts?

If you bring me a forward who is equally good as PJ on the other end of the court, without being a liability on the other two areas, I'd be all for it, if it makes on the floor and cap wise. In the meanwhile, I am more than satisfied with the role he is playing.

One guy I've mentioned before is Turner, for instance, but if ballhadling, more than scoring, is the priority.

Tucker is a key bench player role guy on good teams.
For us hes a starter so imo hes out of his role but doing the best he can.

If we had a better SF he could come off the bench and just put 100% energy into defense and just ignite the team kinda like lou would do for stretches with the old suns.

They have the worst transition defense in the league. It won't be even close IMO.

Lol you were wrong, it was close we only lost by 2
