I can't help but notice how consistently weak and ineffectual McRoberts looks out there. He looks uncoordinated and frail. You can see the effort but he looks like he's just short on a lot of plays. He's not used to these kinds of minutes and he's cooked if you ask me. He can't hit open shots. Defenses are basically daring him to shoot. He looks far more indecisive out there compared to earlier - the sign of a tired man. He starts for us and we gunned for Zeller to address the weakness at the position. PF is a huge problem for us and it's starting to look as dire as the lack of a shooting, scoring wing. Julius Randle would be a good fit imo alongside a soft center like Al. But Cody Zeller? They did a horrible job and their punishment is McRoberts.

Sorry, mates, I'm working both days (14 hours per day) of the weekend. Very unlikely that I'll stay up for this one.

Blame the bullheadedness & obstinacy of Clifford. McRoberts in the starting lineup didn't & shouldn't have had to come to this point. McRoberts is a stopgap, and never should've been considered a focal point of the team's offense, especially not if they wanted to go somewhere. Clifford has McRoberts in way over his head by playing him 30 minutes per game when he should be playing somewhere between 22-25 minutes per game, interchanging frontcourt minutes with Biyombo, Adrien, & Tolliver (or Zeller, whom I believe should be in the D-League right now building his confidence instead of trying to translate his game into a jump shooting big amid the stakes of a team trying to make a playoff run)

Bulls face improving Kemba Walker, Bobcats tonight

The point guard position, specifically, has undergone this sort of change in recent years. The likes of 6-foot-4 John Wall, Jrue Holiday and Ricky Rubio, 6-foot-3 Kyrie Irving, Goran Dragic and Damian Lillard — all but Dragic (27 years old) are 23 or younger — have begun changing the definition of a true point guard. There are still shorter point guards in Tony Parker, Mike Conley and Ty Lawson, but teams are looking more and more for taller guards who can play multiple positions and around the basket.

Kemba Walker, however, seems to be bucking that trend.

Listed at 6-foot-1 but probably closer to 6-feet, the third-year point guard is enjoying his most successful season and has led the Charlotte Bobcats to a 15-22 record, currently good for the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference. Those 15 wins are just six fewer than their total from a year ago, when they went just 21-61; in 2011-12 the Bobcats finished 7-59 in the lockout-shortened season, so there's apparent improvement in a franchise left for dead just a few years ago.

Walker is certainly Charlotte's barometer of success; in 15 wins, Walker is averaging almost 21 points on 46 percent shooting, and in 21 losses he's averaging less than 17 points on 38 percent shooting. And currently he's riding a bit of a hot streak, combining for 49 points, seven rebounds and 14 assists in his last two games.

That's where he and the Bobcats stand heading into tonight's matchup against the Bulls. It's only January, but tonight's game may have playoff implications as Charlotte sits just 2.5 games behind Chicago in the Eastern Conference standings. The two teams met in mid-November, with the Bulls earning an 86-81 victory behind 21 points from Luol Deng. This time around, Deng is gone, and so is the injured Derrick Rose, who scored 12 points and handed out five assists in the win. Walker made just 3 of 14 shots in the loss, so he's also looking to turn around his fortunes while leading the Bobcats to victory.

Do we ever use offensive strategies against opposing teams defensive weaknesses like they do against us? Because if so I hardly notice it. We should attack Boozer all night if he's playing. I think he might be sitting with a sore knee or something like that tho.

I want to fire Silas Jr. Isn't he our offensive coach in some sorts. I hate seeing his face. It remind me of the worst years.

Chicago Bulls is officially in re-build, we have only 1 win in 5 games. We have good chance to win the Bulls, let's do it.

It seems like to me the Bulls aren't tanking, but rather just wanted to get value for Deng before losing him in free agency or having to overpay to keep him.

I would be surprised if we won this game.
Humble yourself.

Hey, he's tired. Thanks to Al Jefferson, he's defending for two bigs now.

Probably gonna lose, the Bulls cant score but their defense is legit (unlike ours) Noah will probably kill Al and Boozer will abuse McBob/Zeller

the fact that this is the second night of a back-to-back for the Bulls as well gives me a small glimmer of hope. that's about it... otherwise, I wouldn't give us a chance.

Augustin will score 8 points tops. Good thing the Bulls aren't good enough offensively to score over 100 pts so we might be able to stick around in case they outplay us early.

How come almost every loss we got this year has came down to one ugly ridiculous quarter where the other team completely blow us off the hinges? I swear Sessions has played the key role in each of those implosions. As soon as Sessions sub Kemba the whole game turn to sh*t and where left gasping like "when is Clifford gonna sub Kemba back in?".

when's the last time anyone ever saw sessions get teammates involved other than telling them to clear out for him?

I want to say the first 20 or so games of last year when Kemba wasn't solidified as the starter and Sessions was trying to take it from him by being veteran savvy. Once Sessions realized that he wasn't getting that starting spot he's been all about stat padding for self. That's why we call him "Passing Is For Starters" Sessions.

Sessions is to worried about his own stats and trying to get paid to care about team success, that is why he left LAL to get paid, he actually wanted to go back to them also (he said so himself) but they never offered, only reason he went to CHA was because they offered the most $$$
