Why does Durant lean back so much when he shoots? I saw him do this against Denver too but he got an "and-1" then but it looks so weird and awkward.

Giannis is showing off his athleticism again. Kid has a bright future if coached properly.

The general point of a fade-away is to create more room for yourself and/or avoid getting blocked.
It's such a fine line between stupid and clever.

It's disturbing how similar Giannis' body is to KD's. No one else like them in the league that have that guard-like fluidity as athletes and players.

Also I've seen so many of these highlight 'vines' with the bass dropping, it sucks.

He looks awkward doing it though. I have seen other plays do fade aways and it looks completely different than what Durant does.

Compare Dirk, for example, and his fade away jumper and Durant's.

Bucks hit the jackpot with this kid, get a shooting coach for him already.

I love how he was guarding him originally, got caught in a screen, lost Durant completely, and made up for it the best way he possibly could. Nasty stuff right there.

Some day, this could be a fun little rivalry between these two guys. Considering their similarities in stature, length and athleticism. I hope GA can become half the offensive player KD is.

Dirk often does it from a standing start (post-up) or off one straight dribble, while Durant is often doing it from a running start or dribble move from the perimeter.

I love watching this kid play, I really hope he makes a big jump next season and that the Bucks finally get a proper back-court going so I can watch the Bucks without rolling around laughing all the time.

I hope Kevin Durant doesn't ask the stat keepers to change that from a missed field goal/blocked against to a turnover-bad pass.

I'm not sure there is anybody else in the NBA who could have made that block right there. :o

Maybe. He surely has the length, not sure about the footspeed, i think Giannis is faster, and even more coordinated.

Giannis is faster but definitely not more coordinated. I'm a fan of both players but Anthony Davis' blocking skills is just another league.
