Can you please elaborate? Obviously, I didn't watch the game last night but from what I've seen there's no way you can compare the Bulls offense to the beautiful misdirection stuff Pop runs.
But Thibodeau and his team know that there will be times they can't simply zip past everybody. So what they plan to do in those situations is use a portion of the offense that the San Antonio Spurs have popularized over time -- reading and reacting to what else is going on around the floor.
"If they get set we want to move them side to side," Thibodeau continued. "But we want the ball in to the paint. When you have a player like Derrick who can force the defense to collapse, now you're going to get some high scoring or very efficient shooting out of that. Everyone has the responsibility to hit the open man, keep the ball moving."
It's an offense the Bulls are still getting used to -- but the players are enjoying moving up and down the floor because of the freedom it gives them to get to the rim.

I'm a huge Derrick Rose fan, and I remember them incorporating a more team-oriented offense upon Rose's return so he didn't have to deal with the pressure of doing high pick & roll the majority of the game
The Bulls are employing a new read-and-react offense that Derrick Rose compared Saturday to the Spurs' system.
Coach Tom Thibodeau said it's a matter of using the personnel he has to exploit its strengths.
"It's more your personnel, so you're not changing the core of what you do, but you want to play to your strengths, and I think the versatility of our team allows us to do some things a little bit differently," he said.
