who has 2 picks in the 1st round ?

how many times has this happened ? (even trading out of top 3 spots)

and who / what were those deals ?

Phili has the best shot of this, I mentioned the 1 for 3 and 12 , would you do it?, and most said no. I have no clue why unless they wanted Embiid, we would still likely have our choice of Parker/Exum.

YES.
i would trade #1 for #3 and #12
really takes the pressure off of our pick and our team/organization
and we would still end up with 1 of Embiid, Parker, Wiggins

who would the 76ers pick ?
mcw, turner, young, hawes
wroten, NOEL
jrich, lavoy, moultrie

they could easly go with Wiggins, and start him at the SG/SF spot with Turner and him rotating
Jabari, then Turner is the SG with Young and Jabari at SF/PF

any of those 3, works for the Bucks
knight, middleton, giannis, sanders
wolters, ersan, henson
mayo, delfino, zaza, miroslav
2 2nd rounders, #31ish, #49ish

draft Embiid, he comes off the bench for Sanders
same for Wiggins, unless he starts over Middleton
Jabari, "I" would start at PF

knight, middleton, giannis, Jabari, Sanders - im happy
knight, middleton, giannis, ersan/henson, sanders - Wiggins - im still happy
(rotate wiggins, middleton, giannis at the SG/SF spots)

Vucevic at PF? LMAO I could agree with Philly being one possible, Boston, Cleveland and LA.
That's all.
Cousins next to Embiid?
Listen, if Embiid were to be the clearcut nº1 like he would have been in past year draft, sure I will pick him ahead of anybody.
When you have other prospects that are better fits and also better prospects, like Parker or Exum, you don't go for Embiid just because he is a Center.

You simply need to watch more footage, specially from Exum.
And Gordon, Harris, Hood or Vonleh are role players at the next level, good pieces indeed but the difference in ceiling is huge.
Saric is not a better prospect than Kyle Anderson.

Regarding this recent talk, Chad Ford said in one of his chats the other day that sources within the 76ers organization said the team prefers Wiggins over Parker. My guess is they'd take him #1 if we made a trade like that.

At the end of the day though, we have a 25% chance at best of getting the #1 pick, so this trade is probably a dream anyways, but I'm not sure I'd do 1 for 3 and 12 anyways. I want Wiggins.

This may have been brought up before, but what do we do if it turns out Parker is going to do his mission? Can we really afford to wait up to 3 years for him to come back, having not played competitive ball for 3 years at that point?

I'd be pretty concerned about it considering there's already questions about what kind of shape he's in. Two years away from basketball could be pretty bad for him.

The worry would be less about his shape, and more-so whether or not he even decides to play for the Bucks. After a year he could just re-enter the draft, I believe.

I went back and forth between Embiid and Wiggins, but voted for Embiid. I just envision he and Giannis having great chemistry and watching his highlights, he "wow'd" me more than other prospects. I know we have Sanders at C right now, but sticking to the BPA approach, I think Embiid is the guy.

First of all, it's highly debatable that Kyle Anderson is a first round pick, or Jordan Adams for that matter particularly when it comes to this draft. In addition, I can provide quite a few counter examples to your argument, after all, all three players happen to also be underclassmen. There are quite a few factors that go into winning ball games than potential and talent level, (see Wisconsin Badgers). Off the top of my head, I can go with:

2007-2008 USC
2008-2009 USC
2009-2010 Texas
2010-2011 North Carolina
2011-2012 Uconn

If a player enters the draft and is drafted, and then chooses not to play professional basketball for an entire year he is then eligible to re-enter the draft. Hypothetically, Parker could get drafted, not sign a contract, go on a mission, come back, and then re-enter.

If he doesn't sign a contract or doesn't play anywhere else, the team loses his draft rights (I think).

DX mock is a joke,

Gordon at 7, Vonleh as a Center, Saric at 11, Dekker, Ennis and Selden declaring, LaVine in the 2nd round, Markel Brown 50, Poythress going pro, Bachynski, Anderson and Napier really low...

Saric is not really athletic at all.
Saric shoot and touch is terrible.
Anderson is a way more fluid player and has better length and is better defending right now.

Saric is going to struggle a lot to find his way into the NBA, some media are enamored with him because they need to find the new european star or w/e that sells but the guy is pretty average as a prospect specially for the NBA.

He is really ball dominant and will never be able to display that game in the NBA, he is 1st in my bust candidates list if he goes high.

Regarding Parker/Exum and Embiid I guess you believe Embiid will be a high volume shooter and effective offensive palyer and a franchise talent, averaging nearl 22-12-4-3-1 during his career, because that, plus a really good defensive performance will be what it takes to be better as a prospect than Exum and Parker.

There is literally nothing in that entire bolded part I disagree with.
