I can see Lakers with a huge offer sheet to Monroe first and foremost.

Lakers might end up with a top 3 pick....

They are top 10 at the moment...

Typical... Then in 2015 they'll be outside if top 10 picks.

Either great planning by their FO or just extremely bad luck by suns..

They should trade Pau or Young to ensure a top-5 pick. I wouldn't be surprised if they use that pick in a S&T for Love this summer somehow.

Interesting article that is not so high on the upper end of this draft.

No one in this class is as highly regarded as No. 1 picks Anthony Davis (2012), Kyrie Irving (2011), John Wall (2010), Blake Griffin (2009) or Derrick Rose (2008). But I don't think that's really saying much. Those guys are thriving at a high level RIGHT NOW at the PRO LEVEL. You already know what you have and it's pretty amazing. The way Griffin, Irving and Davis are playing right now, what do any of those teams have to be unsatisfied about? So I don't care how highly regarded a prospect is, why would anyone trade a sure thing for something unproven when that sure thing is already GREAT.

But if you want to go back to when all those guys were prospects, I seriously disagree about Wall and Rose. Go back and look how they performed in college. Rose wasn't even the undisputed #1 pick for most of the year; there was a debate between him and Michael freaking Beasley. And news flash: John Wall NOW isn't that good.

Just out of curiousity...if we do end up missing the playoffs, and somehow win the lottery or at least a top 3 pick, who would you most want us to draft?

I really can't answer that right now. When Bledsoe was healthy, I was beginning to think that Andrew Wiggins best complemented the Dragic/Bledsoe duo. If Bledsoe comes back not right from his injury, or if retaining him in free agency (on a reasonable deal) looks doubtful, I would be more open to drafting Exum.

Your question is also difficult to answer because which top 3 pick the Suns would land would be a huge determining factor as to who would be taken. But, for the sake of argument, it's the top pick, I would be deciding between Parker and Embiid.

I love the job that Jonathan Givony does at DX (although I know you've had some run-ins with him, carey) but his mocking always seems to be a step behind everyone else until a few days before the draft. Case in point: he has GR3 falling out of the top 20 and Zach LaVine going in the second round. That's a joke. If either of those guys were on the board with ANY of the Suns picks, I'd be freaking ecstatic.

It would still be Randle for me. I know he is not the "sexiest" pick of the bunch, but I see the future of the a franchise in that young man. Especially if you allready have your future backcourt, and starting center(s) on the team, if you know what I mean...

I am thinking Chris Walker might be an option. He is just an elite athlete with nasty aggressiveness. He seems to have a handle and can work both in the post and open court. He reminds me alot of a young Amare.

Not with the first pick in the draft, of course, but wherever the Suns pick.

Regarding GR3 and Levine..

GR3 can be Iguadala or Terrence Williams
Zach Levine can be Westbrook or Shannon Brown..

Mentality, aggressiveness to penetrate and create and IQ... If the above players can show these traits... Then they are a step closer to their "best" case comparisons.

Yet thats what dedicated draft site compare his ceiling to.

Being a versatile (handles, pass, score), athletic wing player with physical traits that boost defensive potential can be compared to Iguadala since Iguadala displays all those traits in the NBA.

If they're using those comps to say his ceiling is high level complementary player and his floor Chinese Basketball Association veteran, then I guess that might be accurate.

But if they're saying he plays like either player, then they're just wrong. I'm not asking you to take my word for it. I would tell you to watch him for yourself. But I've watched him extensively and he doesn't play like either of those players.
