Oden's actually giving MIA good minutes. He's eating up space and freeing up other guys to get boards.

Scored 66 against Indy in the whole game ...

Seriously starting to hate Gortat. Soft on both ends.

We gotta dig in here, not fall into the long-2 with 18 on the clock routine.

It all started with two lazy shots by Wall and two horrible shots by Gortat. Oden completely changed the game's momentum. See what happens on offense when Nene comes out.

Nene comes out and we fall apart. Gortat has looked absolutely abysmal since Nene checked out.

Wall just chucking up whatever terrible non-driving shot Miami gladly gives him.

They didn't scout or prepare for Oden; his physicality is having an impact. But we'll see if MIA goes to Oden earlier in the 2nd half -- or if he has the wind to continue to contribute.

That was an 'AAU' shot by Wall.. stupid as hell

Who wants to bet the jumpshots go cold in the second half, and MIA makes a massive run?

Not just tonight. He's been disappointing since getting here IMO.

Refs getting whistle happy here, must've gotten the order to make it a game.

I'm worried about the refs taking Nene out of the game early in the third, questionable call there for the third.

Gortat definitely forcing some shots. This game isn't over.

Why are you disappointed? He's been exactly as advertised -- a solid offensive C who's effective in the pick and roll. He didn't have a reputation as an Asik-type bruiser; no reason to expect that out of him here.

I'm scared to even watch the second half.. a 21 point lead is nothing against the Heat, wouldn't be surprised if they erased it in the 3rd quarter alone

Wall with no smiles. "First 5 minutes of the 3rd will determine if we win or not".

Would really have liked to see that last 3 by Ariza fall. A 72-48 lead seems much more demoralizing than a 69-48 lead.
