Most are in the regular game thread which is really code for Troll the Bulls thread.

Haven't checked that thread out at all:

Butler made up for my earlier disappointment in him by just playing 60+ minutes. Good job kid.

(From all you other Positivity Thread followers...I'd love some credit as a fanatic over here :D ... I resisted the temptation to even look at the GT this entire game and posted on here only believing as long as I stuck to the positivity thread we'd pull it out ... my drink of choice was Heineken, not Bud light though  )

First off, my pops and I are Noah addicts.

Second, without a doubt the player of the game!

Third, don't forget about DJ...although Noah was the major beast, we wouldn't have won this game if Kirk was out there on offense all OT (DJ gets so much movement out of the offense).

Fourth, Noah was a beast out there (you just can't say that enough times!)

For real though...I said it somewhere around the 4th quarter. Noah absolutely CAN be a legit third option. I'm not saying he is currently, but if we take a performance like tonight as something closer to his ceiling, then absolutely. I think DJ really makes a difference for Noah just because of the movement DJ initiates in the rest of the offense. When all the other pieces begin to move from the outset of the possession, Noah can pick the ball up at the elbow or top of the key, and have a plethora of passing options...or there is so much movement that it opens up a lane for him to drive down the outside of the lane. OR his hand are so good he can drive off the ball and pick it up from DJ of his drive (yeah, he'll throw up some sloppy shots off these opportunities, but it's still a big threat for him).

Then of course, Noah chips in all the extra hustle plays with BIG rebounds (he went UP THERE and grabbed some at the end of each OT it seemed). AND he brought the ability to defend perimeter players in big moments (I vividly remember several one-on-one with Nelson and then that block at the end of the 3rd OT on Oladipo).

Yo, I hate Big Baby (mostly from the Celtics playoffs). But it was an excellent game. I hope on the Magic thread you give Nelson some props and don't rip him apart like we probably would over here. He's still a great player, just not what you need as the star of your offense. Good luck finishing out the season once V comes back (love him!).

Orlando def my fav Southeast team heading into the future (Miami...BLAH! Atl/Cha/Was...meh :D )

Noah's offense has been SO under-looked for the most part because he has not had a true distributing PG like DJ is. I agree with everything you say about his passing skills, his 1on 1 and help defense and the energy he brings. I really think a core of DRose, Noah, and Butler this year will win some games,
He has had to develop some O due to the lack of scoring and let's hope there is more to come. Would you consider this a break out for Noah since DRose is on the shelf?

Naw, not break out, cause Noah puts in games like this every once in a while. And he's been playing real solid for a good stretch now. For me, this game just emphasized how important the PG is for Noah. I would even say the way DJ plays is better for Noah's offensive potential (both distributing and scoring) than what we've see/come to expect from Rose. Cause it's not about DJ/Rose or Noah...it's about how the other pieces are moving off the ball (imo). What we've seen with Rose so often is the rest of the pieces go stagnate. And same with Kirk, but that's cause of his propensity to pound the ball and just in general be so slow.

I hope whenever Rose comes back he plays a little more like DJ in the sense that when he moves, he's moving to get the rest of the offense in motion, not just to get to the basket...does that make sense?

I'll post here as I posted in the other thread (whether they like it or not :D )

I didn't really like our lack of intensity and body language or defense to begin the game. Didn't like it last game either and though they would come out with more intensity after the loss to the Wizards. Everything was going Olando's ways , loose balls , hustle plays and every goddamn shot was gong in like the rim had a homing device But proud of the way we stuck with it and came back from behind and ramped up the intensity and our defense in the overtime periods. Big Big plays by Tony , Jo Jimmy and to good al around game by DJ. Hopefully Tony gains more confidence ad continues to excell. Was vey poised tonigh. Loved the dunk out of no where lol

It's was an awesome and entertaining game. Major props to your team for playing so well without two of your main players. You should be proud of them , they never gave up and to be honest the game could have gone either way. Have to say glad it went our way though :D . Seemed like everything was going in the basket for you guys in regulation lol

You have some nice players , always liked Jameer and Oladipo looks like a nice addition for the future. He was awesome time. Love Affalo's game also

I wouldn't get carried away on Noah's offensive potential, they were playing without a real center.

He should score on nights like this.
