These all seem like random buzzwords. Being a "winner," having "heart," etc.

Maybe so, but I don't see as many players that have the same intensity as a lot of players from the 90s had. Heart intensity killer instinct. That is why I value it more.

I see plenty of players playing with the same intensity as 90's players.

I'm confused about the MCW love. Below average shooter (.494 TS%), assist-to-turnover ratio that's barely above 2, good steal rate, takes way too many threes for only hitting 28% of them.

What is there to be confused about? Leads all rookies in points, rebounds, assists and steals. Nearly had a quadruple double in his debut, and has had quite a few amazing games that you normally don't see from rookies. His potential is through the roof if he improves his jumper and addresses a few other things. He's so versatile.

Leading in points on pretty inefficient shooting isn't something to brag about, and leading any of those categories isn't a great accomplishment when this is a **** draft class. I mean, no one besides MCW is averaging more than 4.8 rebounds a game. And assists isn't as important as assist-to-turnover ratio, which is being barely above 2 isn't a great accomplishment.

The steal rate is the only thing that impresses me. If MCW is the best the 2013 draft class has to offer, this is one of the worst draft classes in NBA history.

I like Pope, but oh how I'd love to be able to swap Jennings for Burke. Utah would just laugh at that suggestion. No way they'd consider it.

Actually, MCW would just make our perimeter shooting worse than it already is. We would have no one in starting 5 who could hit a 3.

I suppose you are one of those guys that thinks Dick Butkus would dominate the NFL right now too huh?

No...I don't know that much about the NFL. I just enjoyed 90s basketball and triple headers on NBC.

As did I, but you have to realize that the game has changed. Just because you don't enjoy watching it as much anymore doesn't mean players are soft or not as good.

Giannis is the guy we screwed up in passing. We could have done the trade with Utah that Minny did (they did 9 for 14 & 21) and walked away with Giannis and Hardaway Jr.
