Not even close to the best player. There's still one player who's head and shoulders above others, but he's not really a role player (not in the slighest), so I think it's too late for him to be drafted. Especially confusing considering Dominique got drafted a long time ago. And I don't mean that it's the same player whom ardee called a 'cancer'.

There is a player who's on my radar that we might be thinking in regards to this topic. All I can say is that he's like Joe Dumars in terms of how he's perceived in the league though play style and position are much different. I'd certainly pick him over Bernard King, but at this point, I don't see him, or any other volume scorer, having too much of a place on anyone's team.

Your turn.

It wasn't an easy choice whether to take a less talented player with no concerns about coming off the bench or a more talented guy who was a starter his entire career. Went with the first option, I already have enough scorers on my team.

John248 - yeah, I think we're thinking about the same player. I'd really like to take him if I didn't already have Kobe and Mullin on my team. He's just not a good fit, but I'd love to see him being drafted by someone else.

Yea, I actually really like him as a player though I've seen him get knocked here due to pace. However, his offense is great and an underrated defender too. He just wasn't an athletic freak but still played fluid...well he had to in that offense.

Blake is an absolute steal right now. I had him as high as 16 on my list of PF where it looks like 8 or so other PFs got drafted ahead of him. I can see the argument of 2 of those being drafted ahead of him but not so much the others.

Anyways, I'm very happy with my Chandler pick. I had him at 12 on my list of centers, so it was a rather easy pick. I laid off since a number of centers had already gone in the draft, so this was the perfect time to take him. A great defender, great rebounder, and communicates well on the floor...rather easy pick. I just like the fact that he knows his role where he won't hold onto the ball and will pass it off. DPOY!

Guys, so the guy I want to take played 213 games over the 3 years, but one of those had 61...

Up to Hibachi, can we make an exception here? It's one less game. If not, I'll pick someone else.

Edit: Ok, f it, I'm taking someone else. If we could get a ruling on this 1 game deviation though at some point, that'd be cool.

I actually considered Alvan Adams with my last pick, but I thought he was too small (particularly too slim and not really strong physically) to play center against some of the really big and physical guys here. I needed some size, because the bigmen I already had on my roster weren't really that big.

I really wonder who would it be?

Anyway, we've decided that no exceptions are allowed anymore. I was able to get Alonzo who played less than 62 games (58) one season, but since then, I wasn't allowed to take Dan Roundfield who also played over 200 games, but played only 61 one season, just like your guy.

Yeah, no exceptions now. Strictly 75% or more. Guys have passed on players cuz of the rule and it wouldn't be fair.

Motherphuker you took Serge Ibaka. He was my guy goddamnit. I wanted him for his shot blocking but even more for the fact that he's maybe the best spot up midrange shooter since Mchale or Worthy.

With the way things are going my backup for Ibaka will get taken too :x :x :x

cheeks wasn't really at the top of my list and there are a TON of point guards left but I really like what he brought to the table (3 all nba defensive 1st teams!)... and I tried to make up for his lack of range with brent barry, who was a sniper and also a very good passer.

Cheeks was great. Amazing defender. Pretty much on the same level as Dennis Johnson. Excellent pick.

I loved Bones in his prime. I'm still a little confused why he never became an All-Star. He was an excellent athlete, very skilled, high IQ - like poor man's Manu. At one point with the Sonics though (2001-02 season) he was a 14.5/ 5.5/5.5/2 stl on 65% TS (!!!) and PER over 19 player, so he absolutely WAS All-Star worthy player. Oh, and very importantly, he's a really nice guy as opposed to his father... :) Good pick as well.

I had some (faint) hope to pick up Cheeks in the 8th... but in the end I thought a C would be harder to grab then. Now, that he is taken, I can reveal the obvious: I wanted Laimbeer. But because of some hostile relations with my franchise player  , I decided to go with Divac. Noah was going to be my 3rd choice.
PC Board All Time Fantasy Draft:

PG Mark Price (92-94)
SG Manu Ginobili (05-07)
SF Larry Bird (84-86)
PF Horace Grant (93-95)
C Dwight Howard (09-11)
+
Bernard King (82-84) Vlade Divac (95-97) Derek Harper (88-90) Dan Majerle (91-93) Josh Smith (10-12)

Laimbeer can only play a back up role in this league. He won't be able to get away with what he did then which was a huge part of his defense.

Well, Bowen was still able to get away with similar stuff in the 2000s, and such things being done on the perimeter are more visible than inside. I'm sure he'd still bother his opponents quite a few times with cheap shots without being called for a foul.
