I dont know if wade is still recovering or not but..if hes not i would put him in the 3rd role on the offense. It cost me alot to say this since its my fav player ever but cmon..he isnt looking great out there..slow , losting handles smh.. wade needs to post up..

Although I was speaking in general, before I comment about the doubling, I have the game on right now and I'm going to watch, but I will immediately agree that wade needs to post up a little more...sometimes.....However, we had a post player in the game ODEN and we had him away from the rim......

gonna watch a few possessions on offense for the double team..

I agree WD. Wade needs to post up more with LeBron slashing and cutting. The decline in Wade's ball handling has been inexplicable.

There is no such thing as a "decline in ball handling", at least not in regards of age or anything. His ball handling is there when he's healthy and engaged. Now, since he had a strong stretch in the 1st half where he drove to the basket at will, using his great handles among other things, my guess is they probably had a little celebration after going to the White House last night and Wade took it too far. His performance last night was just a horrible game that looked a lot like fatigue. Bron looked pretty tired as well, but he pushed through it whereas Wade just let himself go.
As a matter of fact, the only guys who looked fresh were Cole, Bosh, Oden and maybe Beasley, that's it.

My take on the loss is that, while you can lose, last night was just too embarrassing, especially since coming off of two really poor games in New York and a long 4 day break, including two complete days off, in between. Last night just took it too far in terms of coasting, you gotta have some pride out there.

^You may not agree with the statement of "decline in ball handling" as it relates to a player, but THERE IS SUCH A THING, you just disagree as it relates to WADE

What happens when PRIDE, EFFORT, HEART, etc. IS THERE and we still lose? - IMO - you make adjustments from within the system, not preach the same message. We seldom ride the hot hand not named LBJ/Wade - it is what it is

That's why I said it was inexplicable.. His handle appears slow and sloppy many of the times he's trying to drive or do a crossover. It does seem better when he's more engaged though. I'm just hoping that he stays healthy all the way till the playoffs. When he's healthy for an extended period of time, the rhythm and effort looks better usually with more passing games.

LeBron coasted in the first quarter. Then played really well till the 9-8 minute mark of the 4th and was winded the last 5 mins. It's very easily recognizable nowadays. When he gets tired, it leads to turnovers and bad shots.

All the come-backs we had last year and keep trying to have this year. It drains the players mentally more than it does physically. Given the constant media attention and **** they had to endure, I can't imagine how mentally fatigued a guy like LeBron would be..

Unless you suddenly stop working out and playing basketball, your ball handling won't decline and even then, it's hard to really lose it from the point where you used to pull off vicious crossovers and suddenly can't even dribble behind your back anymore. Once you got it, that's something you won't lose like your athleticism for example. If anything, your ball handling is still what gets you by when your athleticism declines.

Ok - I have a few ex nba friends that would disagree with you, BUT ok - tell that to Timbug, I actually heard him say as such at a basketball camp a few years back.

p.s. I was not insenuating that TIMBUG was my friend

Whatever the case, he (Wade) does need to put in more work/effort both on and off the court.. At-least for our championship hopes. More Grover.

How embarrassing. Thank god Wade managed to get LBJ to come here. Imagine if we had struck out in 2010 like the Bulls and just kept Wade as our #1? 31 years old and can't play back to back games and having trouble playing games with 3-4 days off :nonono: He should be ashamed of his performance, but this guy has no shame. He asked Obama the secret to keeping a long marriage.......dude, I ain't married, but I think NOT cheating on your partner is part of the secret. That's right.I went there. Stop sucking!

^I like and have learned a few things from reading your comments and will continue to do so...BUT - I will give him the benefit of the doubt right now since I don't have all the facts to make such an assertion about him. Not defending him, but I plead the "benefit of the doubt" as it relates to this guy.

1) It was good to see Oden playing and people who were saying he had to wait one or 2 months before the playoffs were just delusional. He has still a lot of things to work on it before getting back in NBA shape

2) i dont understand the choice of Roger Mason Jr, i mean Rio is out and Cole has to play some heavy minutes so what is the point ? i dont mind because i like very much Cole (mostly because of his work ethic) but it kills me to see him tired at the end of a game.

3) Next year (even this year)we need some athleticism in the wings. I am more than OK to give to Wade a maintenance program but i can feel some frustrations with LeBron. We have a veteran teams so you cant ask when Wade is out for Ray Allen or Battier to play some heavy minutes. We are a great team not only because the BIG 3 but because our role players are playing great. I am a bit worrired that we are asking them for too much. So it's tough for coach Spo to deal with that kind of stuff.

Honestly I don't care about any sources or experiences. Aside of the fact that I have enough of that myself, it's common sense that you won't lose your ball handling skills during your active career just because you're getting older. Like I said before, the moves may not be as explosive anymore due to the athleticism declining, but that doesn't take away from the ball handling.

This team should be embarrassed. As a fan, I'm embarrassed. Does this team play any perimeter defense? Anyone?
