Its the same reason Doug McDermott isn't in the discussion for 1st overall pick this year. He might be putting up great stats, but it's against bad competition and stats don't mean that a player will translate to the big league. Honesly though, I also like Harris a lot, always seems to be a capable scorer but hasn't been able to get it done in the nba.

I just posted this thread on the Pelicans site suggesting that they trade Anthony Davis to us. If you guys hate hearing about this, I can only imagine what the PeliFans will say!

There are a LOT OF CRAPPY TEAMS in the Association!!!

Face palm.

Please stop with the AD trade talk. He's not getting traded to us or anyone else in the league. Hopefully Nola fans realize your an isolated case, and that us Philly fans don't really believe there's any chance of AD coming here.

Don't give the PeliFans too much credit. I see they can read the posts but I'm not sure how many can write. There are only a handful of posts, mostly from fans of other teams saying, "HellOO???..."

Nope, not many posts on the PeliPage... Say, is that your fantasy roster?

No Moultrie tonight, that was a shame.

Luckily no one ever posts on the Pelicans board. Let it go man, it's not going to happen

I think you're right about the PeliBoard... No fun there. Ok, No AD. No Lebron. No KD. No Love...

DeWayne Dedmon was fun to watch last night!!!

Also, I've been slamming ET but he DID FOLLOW HIS SHOT last night and convert two offensive rebounds in the 2nd half... he doesn't totally suck. MCW does this every game.

I liked how BB substituted for all five starters with a high energy, full court pressing bunch. Not that I think ET is a great defensive player but I'd like to see he and Wroten anchor that second unit (if we have to keep Turner around). If the pace slows, both of these guys can get good shots especially against second string line ups.

I guess it sucks we won again...

Turner doesn't want to come off the bench.

Exactly. His Alpha desire is WAY too high for his ability. It's a fatal flaw. Maybe one day he'll accept a bench role and flourish. I hope his personal journey leads him out of Philly asap.

By the way, MKG didn't look like much of a player to me last night. I'd rather have Waiters than MKG. I worry about where offense comes from if we draft Wiggins. MKG doesn't excite me.

If MKG looked like much of a player, the bobcats wouldn't be trading him 1 year after picking him 2nd overall for Turner who's just started looking like a player and about to enter free agency.

Rarely does equal talent come back in trades...we're rebuilding, and gaining picks/young players with untapped potential is what we seem to be coveting. No pick we get in return for Turner is likely netting a player with MKG's potential.

If MKG doesn't pan out, you haven't really lost anything....if he develops a corner 3 or a semblance of an offensive game then suddenly we have a piece to add to the MCW/Noel core.

Jeezzzis! 2nd overall? I agree with you though, generally, about the asset collection. I also believe in the strong development theme because these guys are so young. Thad is a great example of a guy working hard and showing steady improvement. He had no jump shot whatsoever as recently as three years ago. He's still improving.

This was a decent article this morning:

Probably explains why MKG went #2.

Thad was actually pretty good in college at Georgia Tech. He was a 3 point shooter...I watched many of his games with the now out of the league Javaris Crittenton...lol..Doug Collins was the problem with Thad's style of play, shot selection and growth...IMO

Does anyone have a link to a good yearly Sixer player salary breakdown they could share? The one I liked on HoopsWorld is gone. Thanks.

That's the new website. I think it replaced hoopsworld.

Cut Lorenzo brown or Williams already!

Dudes have shown zilch.

Im actually glad NO won... I think I would be happier knowing that we have a 8-10 pick, then wondering if they will land at 5 or 6.
