Too bad Len wasted a great chance to get relevant minutes against big and slow centers tonight. That foul was totally unnecessary, and it was a fair ejection. The Lakers probably suffered more from the ejections, as Young was scoring with rhythm.

I'd day it was a pretty good trade for us. Their leading scorer for Len.

The whole Len-Young thing is exactly the reason why trying to lose on purpose is not a good idea.

Winning brings a positive culture and one where you support each other when needed.. Something the Lakers don't have and then you look at the whole JR Smith thing at the Knicks..

I am so glad that Hornacek and co decided that they were going to try and win every game.

We might not get a high draft pick but a standard and collective culture has been set now that is ridiculously hard to achieve in the first place, let alone when losing.

And it's no surprise that an arrognat player like Kendall Marshall is not part of that culture.

The NBA doesn't take chances anymore with altercations. I bet the league instructs refs to remove players involved in altercations - ZERO TOLERANCE.

They've learned from all the big fights of the past few years.

The league has gotten much harder on suspensions and fines.

I'm surrounded by Lakers fan here at work. They were bragging how Marshall is a good pickup for them, hes one the "best" young PG , great kid with alot of potential blah blah and now they're singing a different note.

I had a good laugh when they signed him but considering the season they've had and having 0 pg's, picking up a former lotto pick probably is something to cheer about.

You don't think, given the precedent that exists in today's NBA, that Nick Young should have been suspended and that Alex Len was the only one who should have received any added punishment?

Hm, ok.

I'm not saying based on today's precedent or what players get away with and what they don't, I'm just saying based off what I saw today from them. Len gave an unnecessary foul, Marcus shoved Young and Young shoved/punched Dragic to get out of the situation. Len should get a small fine and everyone should just move on from the situation.

Taking a swing at a players head is an automatic suspension. The fact that he (sort of) connected should mean either more games off, or a heavy fine with the suspension.
