IMO Markeif and his brother arent starter quality on anything but a rebuilding team and we wont be rebuilding next year. We will be rebuilt! :P

He doesnt possess alot of passion or a great motor but he's also big and can shoot and pass well. Thats about all you can ask for for a future journeyman bench player on a rookie contract. Let's be honest...nobody in their right mind thought that the Morris twins were anything but a cheap experiment meant to be a placeholder while rebuilding.

As far as the article is concerned its almost seems like Markeif has a crazy fan e-mailing the radio station non stop telling them how the Morris twins are gonna take the NBA storm, then the sports reporter went postal and wrote this.

This just in...the fan has been confirmed to be Marcus! j/k

I wonder if this article got to Kieff and that's partly why he's been playing like s**t lately. Just speculating.

I have no idea why there is hate for Markieff. Hornacek seems to know that Kieff has good games and bad and usually tempers his minutes based on his performance. I think we too often forget that this is his third season, and his numbers are up pretty much across the board except for 3 point %, which I think he should be shooting less 3s anyway. In my opinion, he's fulfilling expectations for a late lottery guy, and that's to be a rotation player. He's giving us 11 and 6 off the bench, I'll take that, even if it is a bit inconsistent.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Mean-spirited drivel.

Stick to yappin' bud.

I've always said the Morri's ceiling are quality guys off the bench for an good team. Kieff has proven he can put up numbers off the bench and it's a matter of shot selection and consistency for him.

I don't know if it's shot selection. The kind of shots they take are usually contested and typically forbidden nowadays (midrage-long twos), but that's their game, and just like any other player, some days you are making your shots and some others you don't.

As long as I have them on my team, I wouldn't try to remove Kieff's turnaround jumper from his repertoire, or that midrange shot Marcus takes after a couple of fakes from the right side, but since their athleticism is limited, I'd be very cautious about who I put them against. At least they work on the boards and have active hands on D.

They are bench players anyway, so if one game they are used 12 minutes and the next one 28, it shouldn't be a problem, assuming they buy into their roles. After all, to get consistent minutes on a winning team you need to provide with the same consistency, and that's probably their biggest weakness.

Pretty fungible, nevertheless.

The thesis is all about effort, though Kieff doesn't seem to be lazy on the court.. Which leads me to believe it's effort OFF the court..

I forget who said it first in this thread, but I'd agree that this is rather disturbing. Seems to be something that has been leaked from someone in the know.. it really makes you wonder if there is a chemistry issue with the team that is being covered up. It's all smoke for now, but this type of article is never a good thing.
