Let's go! Huge game against perhaps our primary competitor for the final playoff spots.

Big game, no doubt. I can't believe ESPN picked NYK-LAC over the Suns-Mavs. I know its different times but I'm sure that could have been switched around.

Will be tough one without Bledsoe but I think we can pull it off if Green plays well and if LB plays and plays well in his return to PHX as a Sun!

Frye usually sucks against most PFs but he's done a good job against the better ones in the league in Griffin and Love...he will need to continue that against Dirk. We need to double Dirk too cause he's found a fountain of youth, dude is playing very well this season.

And for the sake of god, please have Tucker guarding Ellis and Green on Marion. Green matches well with Marion athleticism wise and Tucker can be physical and annoy the hell out of Ellis. Just don't make tired out Dragic and Green guard Ellis like Hornacek did with Mike Conley...

I think Morris twins will be a huge help in this game as will Plumlee. Hope the rooks can make a difference (positively) as well. :D

Go Suns! Nothing like a home win while shorthanded against a good team!

PS here are the jerseys we will be sporting against the Mavs by the way

Huge game for sure. Loved your analysis SF88.

It would be great to see the Suns take care of the ball tonight. It seems as if the turnover bug has bit the team a bit over the last week.

Agree 100%. Tucker needs to contain Ellis. That's the key.

It sucks that this game isn't televised, while the Thunder get a b2b televised game. :(

Ellis and Dirk will probably have their way, Mavs 106-98. :/

Damn that's a blow. Isn't his contract expiring today?

Suns guard Leandro Barbosa is apparently out for tonight’s game, which is terrible timing for him on the final day of his 10-day contract.

The Suns had intentions to retain Barbosa but his right shoulder sprain could delay the plan to give him a second 10-day contract. Teams do not have to give 10-day contracts consecutively so the club could wait to start the clock on the second one until he is healthy enough to resume practices and games.

There does not appear to be a long-term danger with Barbosa feeling like he is close to returning but the Suns might as well be cautious on how much their investing in Barbosa. Another team is unlikely to swipe away an injured player, especially one who would prefer to be in Phoenix.

Suns coach Jeff Hornacek said after the morning shootaround that it did not look like Barbosa would play tonight against Dallas. Barbosa injured the shoulder Monday at New York, where had a 14-point fourth quarter, and missed Wednesday’s win against the Lakers. He still has not made his US Airways Center return as a Sun.

“I don’t think I’ll play,” Barbosa said today of tonight’s game. “I want to play but I got to be smart.”

He said the athletic training staff has a brace for his shoulder.

Did Len get suspended for any amount of games or will he be able to play today?

**** it, the odds have been against us all year thus far. And I hate playing that card.

Hoping for a tighter game this time around in terms of sloppiness, turnovers, shooting %, etc. Keep it polished and get a win. Let's go.
