#2 should be obvious as long as you aren't overthinking it, #3 I think probable won't get drafted, #4 is absurdly underrated I highly doubt he gets drafted. #5 actually describes 2 guys pretty well, both the one I am actually referring to and the other one are locks to get drafted

FYI I won't be drafting any of them. My bench will be filled out by non-all stars

My bad. My account was suspended due to a bad post I made somewhere else. lol

Anyways, I picked up Michael Redd. Drafted out of college for his defense and shooting ability though his defense was nothing to write about in the NBA even if Karl game him playing time due to it being solid enough. Scored well during a time when the league was at its low for efficiency and was a fantastic shooter with some ability to get his shot off on his own.

This was a tough one, I really couldn't decide who my next pick was going to be and this is the first pick that I really had to think it through and check some stats out before I made my desicion.

It came down to maybe the biggest upset in play-off history when the Warriors dispatched the 1st seeded Mavericks in 07

My 10th pick will likely be a fun pick. Probably a bench guy who danced weird at championship parades or someone who was a one year wonder...or maybe a super 1 dimensional player with a useless skill. Not sure but on my mind.

I'm not even going for a rotation player in the 10th round.

I considered taking Oakley with my sixth pick, but Buck Williams was just a better player. Can you imagine Oak and Zo together inside? :o No amount of money would warrant me taking the floor on the opposing team against them.

I also thought about drafting Redd with my last pick (because he was really a poor man's Kobe in his prime, so I wouldn't have to make a huge adjustment when he'd check in for Bryant as a sub), but I really want my starters to be clearly better than my bench guys, and I want them to play a lot of minutes, just like starters in the real NBA game play.

The only thing that bothers me a bit about my team is the fact that Alonzo wasn't a good passer. Otherwise, I'm really happy with how this draft has been progressing for me so far. I imagine that many of you guys think that my team is probably the least talented of all, but I like the fit and the fact that I already have almost everything you need on a great team, ie. defensive anchor, top scorer, savvy point guard, great leadership, excellent outside shooting, good playmaking, tough inside presence and solid rebounding.

Damn, I could've drafted Terry...I think many guys actually forgot about him, me too. Him being willing to come off the bench is a big plus, just like it is with Manu.

Nope. Oakley doesn't have any low post scoring ability and for the record Baron was not the superstar point guards I was talking about either

Yeah, I needed a guy who was willing to come off the bench no problem for Mookie, since he isn't some sort of star. JET was a perfect fit, providing scoring punch and floor spacing.

Metta and Rodman will be a lot of fun comming of the bench though. If I get the guy I want with my last pick, I'll end up with a very famous for fighting bench unit it my front court.

I don't agree with you calling him a 'bonafide superstar' (those were the likes of MJ, Magic or Bird), but he was pretty good for his first three seasons, before injuries caught up to him. Certainly a GREAT backup bigman though. His size combined with his skill level (amazing ballhandler for his size) made him very difficult to deal with. Or maybe you're going to start him and have Marc coming off the pine?

Oh, and I think I know who's the point guard that you're talking about. He was a coach in the NBA not too long ago, right? (don't worry, I'm not going to take him, I think you're clearly overrating him  )
