And NOBODY better talk smack about PJ Tucker. He plays great D, hustles, and isn't afraid to get inside with the bigger dudes. I'll take him on my team anyday.

Ya, plus we keep falling in the standing. Might be back to the lottery. Minnesota needs to start winning.

I would say 50 percent of the fans agree with you on that. That's a debate for another day. Good night guys. Hope Bledsoe is healing.

Yeah, no way that little shi1 on the Mavs gets so many open drives to the basket if Bledsoe is guarding him.

I'm curious, out of 1230 NBA games, how many end with the loser having never led? I would guess 50.

If Bledsoe never got hurt, we wouldn't have lost any of these close games. Suns would be 4th seed right now.

I agree, I think with Bledsoe we are as competitive as GS, but behind OKC and SA. We tend to play Portland very well. But oh well, it is what it is. This team is so much better with Bledsoe because of the issues it creates for other teams when him and Goran are playing together.

Shots Fired!
I like PJ, but I don't think he's should be a starter. With that said, he's the best option we've got at SF.

Just got home, went to a show at First Ave here in Minny. Darn it all, I was hoping for a good comeback. Either poor starts in the first or third are killing us, regardless of who is playing. The Morri stepped up, being our second and third top scorers , but everyone else besides Goran dropped the ball.
Tough to win a game when you let them shoot 50+%.

ish smith played really well in that second quarter. However, Hornacek kept him in too long in the 4th

I like almost everything about Ish, but his shooting. He should take as many three point shots as Plumlee, which should be almost zero. The only time is the off chance that they have to take a half court shot at the end of the quarter, and everyone else chose not to be on the court.

Re: Game 39: Mavs @ Suns
The thing about these losses without Bledsoe is that it forces Dragic to guard the PG (unless he plays with Ish of course). When the other team has a nimble PG like today, Goran just flat out can't keep up with them, and any advantage we get having Dragic out there is offset by the fact that we can't stop their PG from scoring either. As we saw today, all it takes is a screen and it's over. Larkin started beasting as soon as Ish came out and Dragic had to cover him.
The thing about Bledsoe is he can cover that PG while also providing playmaking relief for Dragic. So he's like a double whammy. The other alternative would be to get a 3&D ball hawker like Avery Bradley and then get a playmaker at the SF spot like Hayward. But I digress, it is what it is and hopefully we can find a solution to this, because having Dragic chasing around these zippy little PGs is probably contributing to him wearing down in late game situations as well.

Unless he still isn't 100% healthy I wanna see him at least 20 minutes every game...annoys me a little that our no. 5 pick can't see the floor. And honestly, as much as I like him and as much as he is helping us now,, Plumlee's ceiling is only so high and I think he is pretty close to it.
I really don't think Len has the green light to play that many minutes.

Plumlee has been crap for a while now. He had that big game against LAL weeks ago and has coasted since.
I'd like to see Len replace him in the starting lineup if he continues to slump. We can develop Len even if we are losing. Plus Plumlee may play better when playing in spurts as opposed to most of a game.

If Plumlee was an all-star... Yes you can safely say he has had a "crap" 2 weeks...
But he has always been a role player and 8-9 points, 8-10 rebounds and a block or two games is FAR from crap from a role player...
So I don't understand your expectations....
I do think Len could bite off 5-6 minutes away from Plumlee to keep Plumlee from wearing down and becoming less effective... He is an energy guy... So 100% energy output for a full 24 minutes would be better for players like Plumlee instead of 30-32 minutes playing at 100% only 75% of that.
Len has a knack for grabbing boards... The guy is massive after all... Bynum like but not as long.. But still long.

I think it would be fair to expect at least 10 & 10 from Plumlee. But I'm more concerned with his defense. I understand that he's at a major disadvantage with Frye and a severely undersized Tucker as his front court mates but still, he's been terrible at protecting the rim the past 2 weeks. Every team has driven at will and took a piss on the Suns defense in the paint. That's not excusable.

Completely agree plumlee is a career 10/10 guy. He lives off of hustle. If he isn't hustling and bringing energy he is sorta useless. Just like tucker. Fortunately I think the front office sees plumlee as a bench guy long term. Also think tucker is not in the teams long term plans. We desperately need an upgrade at small forward which is Tucker's current position. Good/great teams don't have tucker type players starting. The draft is going to be very important or a trade with those picks. Ultimately the suns need an upgrade at both forward position if we want to take the next step in respectability.
I see plumlee staying long term as a backup bench player and tucker signing with a team like Utah or Toronto in the off season because the suns will upgrade Tucker's position. You can't fall in love with a player knowing there are better players out there. Put it like this championship teams have tucker type players at the end of their bench. No way tucker would play more then 8 minutes a game with the heat, spurs, thunder, warriors, trailblazers, or pacers.
