Detroit-Philly

Evan Turner and Spencer Hawes for Greg Monroe and Charlie Villanueva

Why would either team say no? All are expiring. Monroe is a good fit with Noel.
Pistons get a starting SF and a legit backup center in Hawes.

Wow...this trade hasn't been proposed 25 times already. Definitely original.

NOOOO for the millionth time.
how many times does this have to come up?
Turner can't shoot. he has been a very sub par player until this season. He doesn't compliment smith which means smith will still float out to the perimeter for no good reason.
Please no.

this forum would probably climb back up into mediocre territory if they just locked all trade threads that didnt atleast have rumors associated with them

i'll make a thread about stuckey, charlie V and monroe for lebron. heat might as well get all they can for him before he bolts right?

Greg Monroe has been traded atleast 400 times this season I can't believe he somehow keeps getting traded right back to the pistons.

I just remembered why I don't post here lol.

Not only are the lot of you unintelligent, but completely ignorant as well.

Sorry I don't visit daily to keep up with the various trades everyone posted. God forbid someone tries to start some discussion here ;)

Team's biggest weakness is lack of shooting....makes trade proposal to bring in another guy that can't shoot! #pistonsfanlogic

You don't have to live on the forum to see there's been a trade thread on the front page for months now...

Monroe's already a great fit to Drummond. I like Evan Turner but he would be useless in the Jennings/Smith offense.

Id relax a bit & gain some perspective. 98% of trades proposed or brought up on here are God awful so when people see another tired trade thread they just sigh ( I know I do) Aditionally, A good chunk of fans on this entire real gm board would fall under the casual fan label so you need to be realistic with who you're discussing Bball with if you consider yourself something more than that.

It's not a bad idea. I like Turner more than most do. I think a wing player who can score and defender the position would be an upgrade in my eyes.

Word. The main objective is to get Smith to the PF position where he belongs. This "big 3" is not going to work, and never will. We will never be able to move Smith in a trade, so the only option is moving Monroe. I am a huge Monroe fan, so it pains me to say that. But it is the only option.

And really, we aren't going to net some All-Star SF for Monroe, so I think Evan Turner is a realistic option. And he is a good player, so it is not like we are selling low. Also Hawes is a huge upgrade over all our backup bigs. Perhaps if possible we try to get New Orleans' first from them as well.

Evan Turner sucks.

Keep him very far away from the Pistons.

Monroe is struggling playing against quicker PF's. HIs 15 and 8 average aren't max type numbers. I'm willing to move on if we can get a fair deal.
