as for the game - jefferson was spectacular in the 2nd half. wow. very nice overall game from kemba. got others involved, played pesky defense, shot a good percentage. you cant ask for much more from your pg.

I want to see MKG succeed as a scorer probably more than anybody on the Bobcats roster because it'll lead to consistent success for the team, but he's never going to start improving in that area until he start asserting himself. I've seen the very same thing from Andre Iguodala during his earlier years, who is a fair comparison to MKG. Iguodala finally starting playing aggressive offensively in his 3rd season, and it paid dividends. Being a scorer is more mental than skill once you get to this point, and have size & strength to do it routinely like MKG does. MKG could effortlessly average 15 points on a nightly basis if he just put it in his mind that he can & should

- All the progress he made with his jumper this summer, seems to have vanished due to time off. Form on the jumper looks worse than ever. Confidence is clearly gone, evidenced by his ridiculous free throws.
- He went nearly 6 minutes of game time in the 3rd quarter without touching the ball on offense, usually standing in the right corner

That was driving me CRAZY while watching the game! Not only was he being guarded by Nelson, but Nelson was laying way off of him too. They should have been posting MKG up every time down the floor!

We're awful when it comes to mismatches in general. When one of our guys has an advantage over their man because of a defensive switch, we almost never do the right thing.

But this was ridiculous. An obvious thing to exploit.

If Henderson would've been defended by Jameer Nelson, he would've demanded the ball every play. That's what MKG has to do. There's no place to be timid if you 'want' the ball. It's as simple as that

well its Hobe he would demand the ball even if he was being guarded by a LeBron + Dwight + Iggy hybrid from hell, and im not sure if MKG is being timid or just being left out of the offense because that is Cliff's system, he needs to run MKG some plays to get him some confidence

Jefferson today was good for Kemba's stat line. Not only was he on fire, but he took an unusual number of shots right off the catch - or with a quick rhythm dribble. Just a rough guess, but I imagine 7 of Kemba's assists were to Al. Kemba also had I think four passes that resulted in fouls at or near the rim to stop easy buckets (a couple to MKG, one to Sessions, maybe one to Zeller) - so in a way his 10 assists were almost technically 14 - sorta. I was a little worried he was losing his composure in the fourth when he got the tech and tried to go one on one right after, but he settled down nicely.

Good rough guess (7), because 6 of Kemba's 10 assist were to Jefferson

So decent game? Saw us go up 19-2, then score-watched us blow a lead with our second unit in, then left and saw Kevin Durant pour in 54 against Golden State. :o

What the hell? Ain't nobody ever say nothing about beating the Pacers in a series. I might've said we have a chance to compete with them and get maybe a game or 2 in on them and I still believe that but not with Hendo at starting SG. I don't think the Pacers would sweep us if we get them in the 1st round. That's my opinion and if you don't like my optimism then so what.

Lol. I like your optimism, but I disagree.

I agree with him. I would love to meet them in the 1st round instead of Miami. They place our pace.

"HorribleFan" says we could beat them in a series. You say that you agree with him.

Good game. We are on the good way, but there are more work. Tonight we going to meet Miami at home. We're not favorites for this game, but I hope we'll show good performance.

Semantics. I never went into detail like Horriblefan. I just said I agree with him. In my mind I was thinking more like I agree that Indy is overrated and that we stand a better chance against them than Miami because they play to our pace and if MKG lockdown Paul George anything could happen but I guess you caught me redhanded so I'll follow suit. We can beat the Pacers in a series if Cho does a good job of buying before the trade deadline. :D

Dude's all over the place. He was anti Kemba than pro kemba in like one day. Like a woman on her period or something. 8-)
