Is there any chance that Ves eliminates the warts? Prior to this season, I'd have scoffed at the idea that Ves could ever be part of a solid 7- or 8- man rotation. But the flashes seem to be more frequent and the warts less appalling. Or am I just accustomed to the rock bottom expectations?

There's only one free throw shooter who can compare and he was a pretty good player aside from FTs and that was Chris Dudley. He just had a mental block at the line.

Wall has been playing brilliantly on transition and should at least have 3 more assists if Beal and Ariza can make wide open looks.

I am fine with Witt's substitution pattern thus far... Now if our guards could just keep their guards from doing layup drills... You may well see Seraphin with Booker out...

Terrible rotations by Witt letting them back in the game

Well, Ves picked up 3 fouls in about 5 minutes. And Nene continues to play horribly on offensive end.

Nene took that charge like it was NBA 2K13,

Against their big lineup, I'd like to see some K Sera. He certainly deserves a look after the HOU game.

The team runs so much better with Webster instead of Beal

That was Webster's fault on the turnover.

Ugh, as good of a post passer as Nene is, he really blew that 4-on-1 transition.

Don't think it was the substitutions, rather Beal not wanting to play D for a stretch and Nene missing FTs

More than just the Houston game. Look at his last 5 or 6 games. He had a knee injury that kept him out 2 and then Randy kept his ass glued to the bench. There's no reason why he shouldn't get 5-10 minutes at minimum a game with his big body and scoring touch. Wish he would rebound more but his presence can at least keep them off the boards.

I hate seeing the stupid Nerlins pic at the bottom of RealGM, ready to play soon. Haven't been so mad on draft day since Blair dropped in our laps. I'm a fan of Otto Porter and advocate patience and some PT for the young man, but .... Noel ... ugh.

I don't think that there is any question that both Webster and Ariza are much better than Beal at this point... the question is do you suffer through the mistakes to let him develop...

And hope he continues to develop quickly :)

Played like crap in the second quarter and still are up by 8. Need Beal to step up on both ends. He's the only starter in the minus category, shooting 2 for 8 and Stuckey is 6 for 9 with 13 points. All layups.

Beal should start but minutes should be limited depending on whether he defends, which of often depends on his shot. He tends to sulk when his shot isn't going and then everything else drops. Martell is more of a pro. He knows he's streaky but at least rebounds and tries to defend. He and Ariza seem to like playing together. Ariza knows Webby is the better shooter when he sets his feet.
