Zeller has actually looked really good over the last couple of weeks. He is so much more aggressive than last year. Its been nice seeing him step up since the Bynum trade. I dont think Dalembert would get minutes over him.

Just out of curiosity do you think Detroit would trade Monroe our two number one picks miami's and our's plus Clark?

No

our first rounder going to be in teens & Miami's 25+ & Clark has negative value I'd say.

Dalembert plays defense. That's the reason he's still in the league, and he'd give us better minutes than Zeller gives us.

Martin would be the perfect off-ball SG to have as our starter.

Dalembert is a scrub and has been for years. Giving anything of value for him is a Ted Stepien trade. Martin can't defend. You couldn't play him next to Kyrie.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

How is he a scrub? Not every player is a scorer.

He'd be the only center on this roster that would actually have a presence in the paint, and the Cavs desperately need that. Varejao is a good team defender but neither Zeller, Andy, or Tristan are great rim protectors and we are starved for one. The value of a guy like Dalembert is not that apparent, but there's a reason Dallas has him and starts him. Calling a player a scrub who would be our best interior defender is really bad, you need some perspective.

Also, a player like Kevin Martin is the perfect fit offensively next to Kyrie. You have to pick your battles with offense/defense. Some players offensive output outweighs their defensive struggles. And Kevin Martin is not incapable of playing team defense, and a good defense trumps any individual defenders impact.

My biggest problem with this team is that our backcourt features 3 players that are exactly the same. Kyrie, Dion, and Jack are way too similar. Kyrie isn't Steph Curry, all Golden State needed was a guard who could handle the ball at a high level next to Curry and Thompson. Jack's success off the ball was a fluke. We need a true off guard and Miles is just too streaky to rely on for a full season.

And we don't need these players specifically, just similar players. I'd like to note that Martin makes 6.5 M and Dalembert only 3M.

Funny thing, both Bucks fans and Mavs fans say he is done. Mavs fans want to trade for a center. Step away from NBA 2k14.

How is he 'done'? I don't care what other people think, we'd acquire Dalembert to do two things..rebound and alter shots...and he's still capable of doing both of those things. Asking him to do anything else is the fans/teams' faults

He averages 6/6/and 1 block a game in 20 mpg for a playoff team. I don't get it, are you guys allergic to actually getting better? We're not gonna add some great center easily.

We are a team with zero defense inside and you're acting like the prospect of adding a guy like Dalembert who offers interior defense is laughable, when in reality sitting put with a bunch of big men who can't block shots or even alter them is even more laughable. I'm not saying a guy like Dalembert will save our season but he'd definitely make us better.

idk what you guys think, like we're actually gonna pick up something better than Dalembert with what we have..

Cavs defense is better than Dallas in almost every category. Combine that with the locker room issues and he being on five different teams in five years, I think you are overrating Sammy d

Im not saying he's great, I'm saying he offers a skill we don't possess on this roster.

But his proximal FG% is better than any of our big men''s. Lower than Asik, Chandler, Robin Lopez...with Anderson Varejao being one of, if not the worst in this stat.

Thoughts on Lance Stephenson? I wouldn't mind if the Cavs threw big money at him this summer.

But what about Waiters!?

Not really. I'd love to get him. I don't even care if Dion gets traded anymore.

Great player. The tough thing is you'd have to throw a ton of money at him, and, he's not really going to be the easiest player to deal with in the locker room. He's still a knucklehead in practice, but Indy's for so many veteran leaders that Lance respects to slap him into line. Literally. David West hits him like every week at practice to get his stuff together.

I don't see anyone currently on the Cavs roster or clubhouse to do the same that Lance would respect. If a Lebron signed, maybe he would do the trick. Maybe Deng, maybe not.

He's not worth what we'd have to pay him and he'll probably stay a
Pacer if they can make it work financially.

Anyone think the Cavs will Trade Jack for Turner?

I had hi hopes for Jack at the start of the year but he has not become the teacher or player he was in last year's playoffs. Also do you see Philly doing this? I do they have very little depth and Jack could help them. After this year they have tons of cap room also.
