We Wizards fans dream of the magical day our team can be one game over .500 !

We as a fanbase are getting exactly what we deserve. Reading through this thread, several posters have commented that they are okay with this loss and that it's not a big deal.

The Wizards just lost to a sub .500 eastern conference team at home. It doesn't get worst than that. We should be outraged as fans, but we're so used to failure, a loss like this doesn't even sting anymore—we're numb.

I don`t necessarily think Wizards fans are numb, we have simply come to terms with the state of the franchise. After years and years of losing, we have greatly lowered expectations and rightly so, we haven`t been a winning franchise for a long while now and it`s useless to pretend. So no, a home loss to a sub .500 Eastern Conference team will not get the same reaction from Wizards fans as say Spurs or Heat fans.

I try to make it a rule to not get too high about wins (such as the recent victory over Miami) or too low over losses--like the one to Detroit last night. Because, as they say, on any given....

Oh, btw, that sub-.500 team that beat the Zards last night have also beat the Heat (in Miami) and the Pacers (in Indianapolis).

Detroit is flawed and doesn't bring it every night but they've got an incredible size advantage over almost everybody that gives them a chance every night. We have problems matching up with them, period. Especially when we can't get Drummond in foul trouble. We split the season series with them, but our second win took everything we had to come back and get that one. They seem to go as Josh Smith goes, when he plays like crap they get blown out by 20. When he plays really well, they win.

If they ever figure it out with Drummond and Monroe, they're going to be a bear to deal with. Nobody is going to like playing them.

But Dumars will probably screw it up and let Monroe walk this summer. I'd love to have Monroe here...
