Your Miami Heat (29-11):

Mario Chalmers

vs

Atlanta Hawks (20-19):

Paul Millsap

Pero Antic

Key to victory:
- Don't let Kyle Korver catch fire from downtown!
- Don't let Millsap go for 20+ rebounds!
- Good post defense is necessary as well!

Injuries:
- Heat: Chris Andersen (knee) and Dwyane Wade (knee) are questionable.
- Hawks: Al Horford (pectoral) and guard John Jenkins (back) are out.

*Injuries will be updated tomorrow

Edit: Dwyane Wade out

5.30 tip off? That's very unusual.

Can I ask you what the hell happened to Lebron's 3p shooting?! He has started the season shooting like 50% . In the last 10 games he is like 15% from behind the arc!

Everything up to this point, imo, has been prep work for after the all-star game.
I think that personnel needs some athleticism/ fresh legs to run.
I think SPO is forever in Lab mode.
G.O. added to the mix is just another excuse.
Needs to recognize the match ups before hand.
Mental fatigue is an obvious factor. Almost at the half mark, 29-11 not bad at all.

Hm interesting. It has been said that LeBron has been "motivated" by what Durant has been doing. I'm glad he has found some sort of motivation til the playoffs, because we need to extend this little win streak.

Though what is LBJ talking about when he says he doesn't get that much shots? We do pass (on a good day) to the open man, but LBJ could probably take as much shots as he wants... he is acting like he is the 4th wheel or some ****. It's a bit strange. Also with Wade out a lot, it can be shared between him and Bosh, which means more shots for him.

Oh **** Heat and OKC play in 10 days too.

Yeah wtf is with Mislap turning into Stephen Curry against us? I feel he's gotten all his career 3 pointers against us.

i will never forget that jazz game where millsap hit like 4 improbable threes to send it into overtime. mind you at that time millsap wasnt even known to attempt threes but on that day he decided he was gonna make 4 of them. i was so pissed it wasnt even funny (back when i used to get infuriated after every loss). i knew then we were destined to lose that year

Kidd-Gilchrist, 2013-2014 season three-point shooting: 0-7

Yesterday against the Heat: 1-1

Kemba's three-point shooting entering the Heat's first meeting with the Bobcats this season: 9-39
Against us: 3-5, including two from 26 feet +.

In any Heat game, you don't know who it will be, but SOMEONE will make it rain on us. It will probably be Korver and Milsap but it can be anyone. In addition, there will be at least one quarter/half ending buzzer-beater.

The NBA would have NFL-type parity if the effort was actually consistent from these "bad" players from "bad" teams. It's pretty insulting to the game and the league when the Bobcats or other non contending teams only wake up when it's the Heat on their schedule. I mean seriously, if you're that good (and you should be, you're in the NBA for a reason), how about playing with that effort when you face the other teams and make this league more interesting?

Anyways sorry for rambling.

Three 3's if I remember correctly and then he had a last second tip in. And why would that event determine the outcome of the Mavs-Heat series?

teams play their best games against us, everyone wants a piece of us..
I dont mind that at all, it will help us prepare better for playoffs..and work on our flaws.
