Happy MKG Day.

Not really sure what to expect out of the team today with Kemba missing.

It would be nice for MKG to take the shots left available that Kemba would usually take - but I don't see that happening.

I think we'll get stomped if MKG is not guarding Derozan. Derozan has become a much better scorer this year, and the team as a whole got much better once they got Rudy Gay off that team. Lowry is also playing really well. It's a shame, I was looking forward to seeing Kemba run all over Lowry.

Sessions vs. Lowry - ADVANTAGE RAPS - This is what will lose it for us
Hendo vs. Ross - ADVANTAGE CATS - Ross is playing better since the trade, but I expect Hendo to run all over him
MKG vs. Derozan - EVEN - MKG should be able to neutralize Derozan, but we'll see how much MKG can do on offense
McBob vs. Amir Johnson - ADVANTAGE RAPS - Supposedly, Amir Johnson is good this year. McBob is well... McBob
Al vs. Val - ADVANTAGE CATS - Take it to the young guy all night, Al.

you gotta give the edge to derozan in the matchup vs MKG. who knows if MKG will even play more than 15-20 minutes. right now MKG cant be counted on for more than some good defense, lots of cheap fouls, 1-2 nice plays in transition and a lot of standing around watching in halfcourt offensive sets.

MKG couldn't do anything vs. Lebron, but that doesn't mean he can't do anything versus Derozan. I think he'll have a much better game tomorrow.

Id like to see Clifford give MKG huge minutes night in and night out, but its really hard for him to with his lack of offense.

Guess who is going to the game tomorrow... this guy! Hopefully I won't be as annoyed this time as I was Saturday when I went there because of the bandwagon Heat fans and that guy telling me in OT to sit down.

Im hoping you told that guy to shut the hell up. I've been there and done that. Paid decent money to attend a game and people tell me to sit down or calm down because they have their children with them.

It's seen like we playing with our luck. Once Kidd-Gilchrist injured, once Walker. As BigSlam said, I don't know what to expect from the team without Walker. I hope Sessions will good out there tonight, like he was against Miami. If McRoberts will continue the good performance from our last games, there is some source of hope.

This our first (and last) early game this season. Let's go Cats!

It ticks me off that we haven't see our best three players together healthy yet this season. Al was hurt early in the year, and by the time he was actually healthy, MKG went down. Now MKG is back, but hasn't returned to form yet and Kemba goes down. We have yet to see those three playing good basketball at the same time, which is a shame because theoretically they fit really well.

Especially since their numbers have been great. I remember me posting somewhere during the period of time that MKG was out that they outplayed the opponents 97-85 per 100 possessions. The line-up of Kemba-Hendo-MKG-McBob-Al, that is.

Now after some more sample time, they still have a net rating of +12 points.

It's 102.5 - 90.2 after 173 minutes.

Look what we have here. Our fiercest rivals, the Bobcats. No NBA team fears me more than you guys. I remember that 7 win season y'all had and 2 of your wins came against us. Fierce battles over the past 3 years. Our season is on the line tonight, clinging on to that 3rd seed. I freakin hate you guys. Here's to a good game though. I can respect a rival.

PS Ross is lockdown defender. He'll do to Henderson what MKG will probably do to DeRozan.

haha. you can tell a lot about our franchises from the fact that there's supposedly a rivalry between the two of us.

good luck to you too. I felt good for you guys that you found a way to get rid of Rudy Gay.
