I know it's out of Jimmy's control, but dude needs to rest up first and foremost. He lacks explosion and general lift, and it's effecting everything from his jumper to his D. He's looking like a sub-par athlete out there, and we can only assume that's due to the turf toe.

As I said, he runs guys into the ground. I'm as concerned as you are about it.

this is so true, and i would hate if this would lead to future injury problems for him, he just needs some rest and not to play 60 minutes per game! i hope Thibs would play him less, and increase minutes for Snell and Mike, and that allstar break would be enough for him to rest...or Jimmy just fake the injury and get your rest, your career for Bulls is more important than this season!

Playing hurt or not, if he's starting on a championship team - the other four better be damn good,

I don't mean to cherry-pick, but it's easy to forget how good Jimmy was before this stretch. This was Jimmy in the first game of the season against the Heat; it's not an ideal game to look at but you can tell he was a lot more active and disruptive on defense, and he scored 20.

And watching Jimmy score 28 here, his career high, you can see how just how many of his points were at the rim from cutting/slashing. He finished heaps of tough shots were explosiveness and strength, he hasn't looked like that at all this season. Of course it helps his game so much when he's hitting those 3's as well.

DJ isn't quite the scorer Nate is, but then again, he is much more of a true PG. Can you imagine his assist totals on this team if we had some consistent offensive players?

Jordan Hill is going to be one of the best signings of the summer. If we didn't have Mirotic in our plans, I'd probably want us to target him.

How about Ben Gordon for being under the radar? There's a chance we'll be able to sign him for the near minimum, and he could probably return to a 20 point scorer.

You should go to the bears thread next and tell the Bears that they should've listened to you when you told them not to sign Cutler to that ridiculous contract....but nooooo....noooo....they didn't listen to you.

Oh, and hey, make sure to not forget to do your 4th grade math homework later this evening and go to bed before 9...ok kiddo, you'll grow up to be a big boy one day.

I was actually on the #teammccown bandwagon, and wanted to move on from Cutler :banghead: Oh well.

I'm just pointing out, the Bulls front office did great the last off-season, but if Kirk's money would have went to Augustin or Stuckey they could have been in the running for executives of the year. And would have been able to make up for the offense lost not if but when Rose went down.
