then the only legitimate/full time front court player we would have would be Melo.
Melo would not approve.

Develop Jeremy Tyler and we got bargs

Lakers apparently were looking at aquiring Chandler and need a PG... How about

LA- Tyson, Felton
Hou- Gasol, 1st rd Pk from LA
NY- Asik, Lin, Monty

Lakers- Make a run for the playoffs

Hou- Get a C/PF who is expiring and fits into there system along with a 1st rd Pk

NY- Get a upgrade a PG, and prospect in Monty

Tyreke

Bos gets
Amare
Rivers
Aminu
2nd

Hop gets
Bargs
Jr
Felt

Knicks
Tyreke
Shump
Jgreen
Melo

Perfect balance of offense and defense... Tyreke was the roy playing the 1. Shump can guard the 1 on defense and green can guard the best wings on the other team...green and tyreke can take the scoring pressure off melo
J.R. Smith's last-second whiff left the Knicks with a sixth straight loss. But J.R. would do it again. "I think we went with the best shot," he said.

Their assets are their 1st rd pick this year, a future bobcats 1st round pick, a heavily protected CLE pick, and the draft and stash prospect Mirotic and Jimmy Butler. At a minimum Mirotic and the CHA 1st need to be involved for Melo. And at a minimum their 2014 pick is the cost of absorbing Boozer's deal. Would they be willing to take JR for scoring off the bench?

This is a deal that would leave the Bulls with: Rose/Butler/Anthony/Gibson/Noah next year.

But from the Knicks standpoint I don't want Mirotic. He's going to get more than a rookie scale deal which would eat into 2015 cap space when the Knicks would clear the books. What would a Shumpert/Mirotic package generate in a trade?

Plan would be to tank next year, load up on young players/assets and try to land 2-3 max players in free agency. Or sign sign 2 and draft the 3rd, freeing up money to fill the roster.

The Knicks seriously need to look into dealing Melo, Chandler and Shumpert (since he will be due an extenuation next year) can bring back in a trade. It's time to start over. The organization is in a whole for another year and Chandler/Melo are at the end of their primes. We really need to take a step back if we want to take 2 steps forward.

trade for a soon to be amnestied player?

getting an extra asset or 2 for eating a bad contract and maximizing the liquidation of the asset known as Carmelo Anthony.

No one does that except for the Knicks. Lakers ain't making the playoffs and seems to be tanking. Giving up a pick along with Gasol for Tyson? Come on mang. They were looking for a point guard and they found one in Kendall Marshall.

Ny lineup rondo shumpert melo martin bargnani
Boston gets their young assets
Okc gets chandler proven leadership and defense with a backup point
Okc playoff lineup...Westbrook sefolosha Durante Ibaka chandler

Again, fair too low value for Rondo. Would need Shump, Tyler, Murry and whatever seconds are out there to even make this close.

i'm not so sure that tyson would be an upgrade over gasol, nor that the rox want to get out of those contracts with asik and lin. and MR.E, a mod from the rox forum is to believed, they'd want a pg in return if they deal lin.

re work this were we get adams and have to eat perkin's contract and maybe end up with humphries or wallace
also boston would need a 2nd pick and it becomes realistic.

The fact that u said gasol is not a upgrade over tyson makes me not take u seriously... Tyson is not suceeding because of the dumb system incorporated by the dumb coach....On side note im sure houston would love to pay Lin/Asik 50 Mil plus next year wen all said and done with luxury tax and all... that is more then lebron and wade :o

if gasol is an upgrade why the hell would LA do it? you talking about the woodson system being wrong for tyson, but you want to trade him to a team coached by a guy who has no use for centers like tyson? you obviously know what you're talking about. and what do i care whether you take me seriously or not? it's very simple buddy, stop replying.
