Semi-OT: need some help

Post#1 » by sheek2417 » Mon Jan 20, 2014 5:10 am

Hi, been browsing these forums for years, used to have an account but i forgot my username, anyway, I need help from someone who is good with photoshop, I'm even willing to pay.

Basically I want an awesome picture of the staples center, with a black mamba wrapped around it, it's for my tattoo, and I wanted an actual Laker fan to draw it up because I feel like only a Laker fan would really make a great picture for me. So if anyone can help me out please do. thank you!

I would ask Gek KB24 or AI. if not go to the Graphics and Design forum.

Okay, so this definitely is not my niche and I am not, by any stretch of the imagination, a tattoo designer, I just occasionally make sigs on the side. I didn't really "design" this, because that would require me to have a lot of talent and time that I simply do not have. I obtained a tattoo outline of a black mamba snake and paired it with what I believed was the best image of the exterior of Staples Center. In your original post, you wished to have Staples Center wrapped inside of the snake, so I went ahead and tried my best to make that happen. The image of Staples isn't flawless; so if you do decide to use this as a basis of your tattoo, ask your artist to not include the cars, the interfering stop light, and anything else you don't wish to have tattoo'd onto you. The outline that I made does not look amazing, because it combines a sketch of a black mamba with a real-life image of the outside of Staples Center, and the two do not really mesh well together. But if you decide to go with something like this, and you have a really talented tattoo artist, I'm confident he or she will be able to make it look amazing.

Thanks AI, but I was looking for more along the lines of the this pic, but wrapped around the staples center:

The one you made wouldn't fit in the area I want it on.
here's my tattoo so far, not fully done coloring yet, I want the staples center to go in the inside of my arm.

Thank you for your help though, I appreciate you taking time to put something together.

I'd be amazed to see staples fitting inside your arm.

I hope it fits, I've had my heart set on the placement for a while now, but if it doesn't fit I'm going to get it below the hollywood sign and work my way down my whole arm.
