yea i remember the reports. My guess is interest in him has died down significantly after the dirty laundry was aired and clearer heads in those front offices prevailed

Knicks reportedly offered JR for Miller... We shot that down immediately. Warriors are probably set after making the trade for Crawford.
Might as well do Fredette and 2nd round pick for Miller at this point. Maybe we somehow we strike gold and he plays well. If not he's a free agent anyway.

Who plays first, Gallo or Von Miller? My money would be on Von

Same. Von is a higher classed athlete and should have a quicker recovery time. Plus he had his surgery sooner. Not sure if the difference in physicality would make Von take longer or not, but I would kind of doubt either team would allow either one back before they were 100%

To respond to Rebel without quoting all of that...
I think this team may be given a short time to prove if they can be playoff contenders or if it is time to move a few of the pieces for young talent or draft picks. I think if they choose to sell at the deadline, Wilson Chandler is the guy that will probably go. We would be better off getting Founier, Miller and maybe Hamilton more PT to develop for the rest of the year than play him. As is, his fit with Gallo back is a huge question. We have too many 4s to get him time as a stretch there and he hasn't been able to play the 2 in the past. We could also probably get pretty good value for him as he is a solid all around player, he has just become expendable if this team isn't trying to win this year.
As for Miller, I think we will hold onto him until the trade deadline in order to drive the value up with teams hopefully having injuries or realizing that they need point guard help to make a playoff push. I would guess they just weren't that happy with the offers that they had initially and felt that they will get better toward the deadline as more pressure builds on teams trying to add the right pieces.

How much more time do you need to figure out what you have, with Gallo not coming back and no time in place yet for Mcgee, you have had half a season to see what you have. the biggest question is what direction do you think you should go with this team?
Right now it is obvious that even if they sneak into the playoffs they will be 1 and done, and may even be swept by most of the playoff teams. The defense is just too bad to stop a good team with a game plan, and with the limited offense it has already been shown that if you stop lawson you stop the starters.
As for Chandler, as I have said I am fine with him being traded immediately, Andre should be used as filler at this point as that is probably his best value. I would target someone that is worthless or out for the season with a 1 or 2 year contract as long as I could find a young prospect big with potential to be the guy Shaw wants. Than get Shaw to develop the young guys at each position with lawson distributing the ball.

completely agree on this. We're in a fortunate position really after hearing of Gallo's surgery. it's time to move what we can and build the team Shaw wants.

in all honesty, i doubt gallo had a setback in his rehab. this **** was pushing weighted sleds a week ago. i think this was a preventative surgery similar to westbrooks injury. denver is still going to make the playoffs and let the chips fall where they may. gallo is probably going to be in better physical shape than he has ever in his career when he returns and to top it off, the new york bricks are helping denver get a lottery pick. (rodney hood, zach lavine, daunte exum )

injuries and a lot of turnover within the organization makes this a tough year for Denver. If the Nugs get healthy again they'll be back in the playoffs. It seems like the ownership group was trying to do more than just get there like in the past. For that to happen something needs to change.

Embiid & Nurkic both seem to have the long term potential, Julius Randle as well but for some reason I just do not like Randle's game.

Re: Gallo to miss rest of season with ACL surgery
I know it is kinda redundant with Ty and Fournier, but I would love it if we got Exum. His ability to post up as a PG is really enticing. From the footage I was able to watch, really like what he brings on both ends. Would be better if we got Smart, but I just don't see the Knicks being a bottom 5 team.
I am on the same boat as Josh & Rebel, I really don't want us to get Randle. He is a top prospect and I like his ability to throw the outlet (poor man's Kevin Love), but the rest is up in the air if he will actually have the drive to become a franchise guy. Very skeptical.
Keep it up NYK... I want that top 10 pick!

Randle is exactly like Zach Randolph, which is why I would love to have the guy. This team lacks some one who is mean and aggressive below and that's exactly who Randle is. He is nothing like Bennett.
If we get a top 3 pick I would take 1) Embiid 2) Parker 3) Wiggins. If not, I would hope we end up getting Aaron Gordon.
*If we get Embiid, Randle or Gordon, I would think Faried gets traded.
