Looks like its going to be another Rafa gs win barring an absolute collapse by Nadal or some miracle tennis by the remaining three guys. Don't see Roger beating Nadal and certainly don't see Berydch or Wawrinka doing so either in the finals.
Congrats to Nadal on #14 I guess.

Nadal hasn't looked as convincing and Federer seems to be rounding into superb form.
I wouldn't count Federer out just yet, people weren't expecting him to 3-0 Tsonga and nearly 3-0 Murray. (I think he was actually an underdog on both occasions)
I'd give Federer a 20-30% chance to beat Nadal, the Spaniard is obviously the favorite though.

Really surprised to see Nole lose! He was rolling. Good that Stan finally got a win though.
Also very happy that Roger was able to down Murray. Unfortunately Nadal is up next
Would be amazing for him to get a win but seems like wishful thinking..

She was phenomenal but Azarenka was a wreck for much of the match. Too damn nervous to get going right from the start.

I'm not sure how you could watch Rafa's last two matches and Roger's last two matches and then make this statement.

Bouchard is going to upset Li Na, and shock the tennis community further

Genie played it pretty even after the 0-5, but that was too much to spot Li Na with the way she was playing. That crosscourt backhand...

Re: Australian Open 2014 (01/13 - 01/26)
Holy crap! Radwanska got destroyed!
I think if Genie had played Aga, she'd be in the finals by now. Li had too much pace on her shots and Genie didn't have time to react. But with Aga shots, they were much slower and I think Genie could've pounced on them and attacked like she did against Ivanovic.
Oh well. Rooting for Li Na to win her first Aussie Open now!

Finally a Fed-Nadal grand slam match up not on clay. Gonna stay up for this one. Hoping for a roof close to give Fed an extra boost lol

So sad. I don't want to see Federer play Rafa anymore. Its just too depressing.
It use to be a fun rivalry, but now its just sad when its loss after sad loss by Federer. Don't think he'll ever beat Rafa again at least not in a major.

Re: Australian Open 2014 (01/13 - 01/26)
I just find it bizarre how Nadal is totally unfazed by the Fed. It's as if each ball is just another ball to play... I'm absolutely biased because I love the aesthetics of Roger's game, but Rafa just bludgeons the beautiful game into submission (along with impenetrable defense).

If Nadal wins Aus open, he will have as many hard / grass court grand slams as Djokovic.
Not bad for what some people still call only a clay court player.

6 straight in Grand Slam tournaments for Rafa against Fed. Never thought it would come to that for either of them.

People who still think this need to have their head examined. He's not as amazing off clay, but he's still an incredibly tough out.

I don't know anyone who thinks Nadal is only a clay court player.

I think a guy who won 3 hc slams and 2 slams on grass should be considered amazing off clay. I would say that he is godlike off clay. On clay a healthy Nadal is pretty much unbeatable.

To me he is the third best player in the NBA - Luka and Embiid are comfortably ahead of him.

It would be amazing if Rafa beat or equaled Fed's slam count while Fed is still playing.

Li Na easy championship win after the 1st set. She simply dominated Chibulkova after getting herself settled. Really glad she won. Congrats.
Also I looved her winner's speech. Maybe the best acceptance speech EVER! LOL
