That is prety much what Giannis was in the greek 2nd division. He used his athleticism and handling to drive into the lane, dunk it, dump it to the big man after the penetration or kick it to a perimeter shooter.

   LeBron's game. Seriously?

What a shock his body must be going through. From a heart-healthy Mediterranean diet to a Wisconsin diet of beer, brats, cheese, and apparently smoothies.

Yes, that's all MIlwaukeeans eat is beer and cheese. There really are no other alternatives on most menus. Just Pabst and mild cheddar.

Sometimes sharp cheddar

It's a stylistic comparison of two forwards that love to slash and dish using their athleticism and willingness to pass. Not talking about skill, productivity, only about their preferred style of playing.

I think you know what he means by that but are being disingenuous instead.

They need to invest in an on board light.

Kobe is certainly a very intelligent guy and a good interview.

The Bucks need to design their entire offense around Giannis. He needs to touch the ball on every possession. Whether it's bringing it up, or having a point guard bring it up but get it to him early in the shot clock - it needs to happen. He should be the Lebron of the Bucks team. Please find me a real coach, and some players that fit.

That Kobe interview was great, you can tell he's been impressed with Giannis.

I just want to thank you guys for posting these highlight reels. I don't get to watch too many Bucks games and if I did I would probably just focus on Giannis anyway so these videos give me all the Bucks info I need.

I hope Giannis sees what Kobe said about him. That is such high praise coming from him. Seems like players around the league are aware of what Giannis can be and that's awesome to me.

Agreed. It's neat to see their eyes light up when asked about him. You can tell they're impressed.

Another nice Giannis write up:

http://www.ballermindframe.com/2014/01/ ... omFwr.dpuf

What’s perhaps most tantalizing about Giannis Antetokounmpo is not his definitive excellence in any particular dimension of basketball, but instead his tremendous potential to excel in so many aspects of the game. At just 19 years of age, he already boasts the physical credentials to compete in the NBA — tremendous leaping ability, dangerous end-to-end foot speed, dexterous hands and a Gumby-esque wingspan that stretches 7’3” in length — but it is his intuitive sense for the sport and apparent comfort with all of its demands that set him apart, and gives spectators the sense they are watching a prodigy discover himself before their very eyes.

Yeah, I find myself watching only the first half or so of these games before switching to a better one. I'm more of a general NBA fan than a Bucks fan. Sports fandom is merely a relic from our tribalistic past. Anyway, it ends up that I miss a lot of Giannis action.

I spent a while writing the description for this video. Here's a teaser:

"Can we switch to something else? I don't like watching the commercials," Giannis said uneasily, grabbing for the remote that was in Nate Wolters' hand...

“For being 19 and basically being on his own — he doesn’t have any family here — it’s got to be a tough situation for him,” Wolters said. “I’m sure he misses his family, but who wouldn’t? But he’s done a very good job of adjusting; he’s handled it very well. He has a really positive attitude. That’s what stands out about him more than anything. He’s been through a lot already just coming over here to the United States.

“I think he knows this is his dream come true, to play in the NBA, and he’s really taking advantage of it.”

The board behind Hammond was interesting. I think it's all the NBA rosters but not an alphabetic listing. Each card has player name, position, DOB, and contract status (i.e. UFA 2014, RFA 2015, etc.) Wonder if the order of the players is significant?

EDIT: never mind. It's grouped by position (G, SF, PF, C).

It's position. In the part we see, there are centers. Noel, Valanciunas, Gortat, Dedmon, Hayes, Seraphin, Stiemsma, Whithey, Thabeet, Okafor, and Meyers Leonard.
