He's not a liar, some guys just believe unworthy sources and then pass them along as a credible source.

If Bynum was a done deal, that would have been a world wide scoop. There's a ton of real journalists with legit contacts that would love to break that story. Guys that have daily access to Heat players and staff, guys that know Riley on a personal level. If none of them is saying it's a done deal, it's not a done deal. regardless of what someone friend might have said.

I was kidding. I got u, but at the same time. IF you were to ask me who I would expect to be able to keep something completely quiet, it would be Pat Riley. I mean the beasley signing was known by nobody EXCEPT for woj. And woj is the best of the best. It doesnt completely surprise me that NOTHING has come out about Bynum. I mean nobody has reported anything about him since he cleared waivers. Dont u find that odd?

And it was funny ! Next time put the green front

What I'm trying to figure out is where I said it was definitive that Bynum was signing. Nothing was set in stone, and I never said anything resembling the words "book it" as though my word were law. I don't have a reputation around here for spewing nonsensical breaking news reports or anything of the sort.

What's being hammered home right now is concerns relating to Bynum's attitude. Pat, as we all know, won't be having any of that, especially during a season like this one. Once that is settled and established, the HEAT are going to have a new starting center to place alongside Chris Bosh.

Greg Oden is fine. Because of one of his legs being longer than the other, officials are working on a special shoe for him to play with that will provide balance for him. Miami is really pulling out all of the stops to ensure that The Oden Project is a success. The feeling is that there's no doubt about Miami's desire to keep rebuilding Greg Oden long-term, and they want him to have as much potential for success with us as possible.

If he gets hurt, he gets hurt. If not, Miami will have a starting-caliber center going forward. Either way, regardless of a Bynum signing or not, Miami is fully committed to Greg Oden, and he knows that. The only frustration he has is about getting his body ready to play and completing his rehabilitation. This is the exciting thing about this franchise. We care about our players.

SHAQ, for all of his complaining about Miami, actually lost some credibility when he tried to claim Pat Riley ended his career. Everything SHAQ used to resurrect his career in Phoenix was being offered to him here in Miami, but because he didn't like how he was being treated by Riley, he decided to loaf around and get himself hurt some more, similarly to his contract dispute with the Lakers before forcing his way out of there.

In Riley We Trust. Big time.
Hopefully this is true.

Better this than wishing for a 30-something year old center with a **** up neck that's out for the season every other goddamned post.

If this happens, I wonder who we let go. I kind of don't want to replace anyone even though it's an obvious need.

I don't care. I just ride with what we got. Honestly, I run my mouth at times about who we play, who we sit, coaching and all that ****. At the end of the day, I'm just a fan. We're not going to win every year and this isn't going to last forever. So I really just enjoy the ride.

They have their picks. Maybe Toney Douglas gets cut since he hasn't played yet? Who knows.

One question: Why hasn't Toney Douglas been on the BENCH yet? Or has he, and I missed him? MY OPINION, I think they are working him out quietly, maybe trying to see if he is the better than Mason? Or can FIT better? Just a thought..

He was on the bench yesterday to the left of Wade, wearing a suit.

I don't get the Mason hate. He was signed as a reserve player ala JJ, he does his job to the best of his abilities. He's a good teammate and above all he understands his role. I'm all for adding more talented players but there's no need to down anyone else at the expense of that

I LOVE the fact that no one has signed him yet, plummeting his value. When he falls to us, and he will. It will be for the Min.

I think Bynum taking long time is a good sign for Miami.

Which other team he would take more time for? No team is going to sign him for a long term contract.

I think he is just trying to decide if he can get meaninful minutes, given the presence of Oden. And I think that is a fair dilemma.

Then again, I am a biased Heat fan!

Teams have offers waiting for him to sign not the other way around. Bynum is waiting to get what he wants be it firm mins on team or a better offer $ from another team. Either way Bynum is the one in charge unfortunately not the other way around.
