And third most profitable behind only Lakers and Knicks.

$64 million dollar profit last year is insane.

For the record, Les bought the team for 85 million in 1993.

Wow, no kidding. I imagine the Asian market contributed to it.

The question remains though if Les will be willing to go into the luxury tax when the time comes.

I think that they do go into the luxury tax next season to retain Parsons after some free agent signings. It's all about flexibility until then.

Hopefully the Rockets will move up the value ladder once they get the CSN debacle fixed.

This question has been answered. If the Rockets look to be title contenders he is more than willing to go into the tax.

Wow the Knicks... that MSG renovation did wonders for them.

Houston is making crazy amounts I guess CSN is still profitable?

Yeah I know Les has said that in interviews, but AFAIK he hasn't gone into the luxury tax even once has he? I don't remember if we went over the cap or not when we first got Barkley. We probably won't know for sure until we see how the team handles the Parons' situation.

I'ma throw out "I think they mean 'highest priced', not 'most valuable' " unless they expect those sort of profits to continue.

If it was "most valuable", it'd be the sixth-most ranking franchise when subtracting expected value from asking value, and you aren't likely to get those numbers floated in public discussion.

Definitely, fake ass lin is pretty much a cash cow. I'm really happy to see that people here support the use of this type of language in reference to a player on our own team.
