It's great to be excited for games again!

My wife will be discharged from the hospital Friday and hopefully we can bring Case home with us and he can watch his first Nets game! I mean, he was born on the MLK Day slaughter at the GAHdun. He's got to be good luck for the team :D !

Should be a fun game regardless of the outcome.

Much more fun if the Nets beat the Mavs, & then beat the Celtics & Raptors, & then shock the world & beat OKC again - hence a 12-1 record in 1/2014 & a record of 22-22!

I like our chances. We've been playing much better at home as of late. Would like to see some AK on Dirk. Also upset Dirk rested against the Raptors, was hoping the Mavs could've won that one.

i dont get all this fear about dirk. i mean he is an outstanding player, but this isnt like prime dirk locked in on a great mavs team. he is no better then several guys we have had to face during this streak(lebron, durant, curry, etc..)

if we lose, its because our offense didnt get it done. im more worried about them being able to match up pretty well with us defensively... specifically on johnson

I guess the Mavs are using the Spurs philosophy to "rest" players. Still, a rested Dirk Nowitzki does not scare me all that much. Push him around a little bit and he will run away from the contact.

The Nets should win this game being at home and the way they are playing ball as of late. However, Dallas won't come in and not put up a fight. I'm definitely ready for this one. Is it tip off yet?

So after the game can we work out returning the JET to Dallas in exchange for bringing back VC.

Ricky Ledo and VC for Terry works according to trade machine.

If only this could actually happen

He's actually been having a very good and underrated year. And unlike those guys, we don't have a slew of perimeter defenders to throw at him...we need to rely on KG, AK, and Blatche to bother him. Or just go with the huge mismatch of defending him with Pierce.

pierce isnt a huge mismatch... and certainly a better option on him then blatche. and while he is having a good year, its not like he is dropping 25ppg on 55% FG or anything. its a down year by his standards.
