bull. He's not the point guard. John should be dribbling the clock down and then dishing or shooting. Not giving it up to your 6-11 big man at the top of the key. HOpe it doesn't cost them.

Great win guys! Beal was the man down the stretch. And played 30 minutes. Wow. Give Witt credit for the way he saved Beal and didn't yank out Gortat with 5 fouls. Needed his length in there instead of Booker.

Can we play all our games on the road?

Excellent win. Thank God Randy put Beal back in down the stretch. We needed him.

Wall is fine. He's still not a great shooter so as a result, he's not a great closer. Teams go under the screen and force him to take a long 2.

I've got no problem with Beal running pick-and-rolls in clutch situations. He's so much better as a shooting threat.

This game is gonna be ugly.. probably something like the Clippers game from earlier in the season.

Its the Wizards.

Face it. We have no idea what will happen.

Its just as likely they come out looking great and its a blow out.
Or that we look good and win a competitive game.
Or that we look good and lose a competitive game.
Or we could look terrible like Boston.

One thing you can count on is they will get little help from Randy during the game but he will nail what happened after the game in an interview.

True, but I'm not expecting much. Washington beating a team like Phoenix would be a huge anomaly given our track record against tough opponents this season.

Even if we do win, it won't change the fact that there are systematic issues with this team that will continue to rear their heads in future games. Patience is wearing thin for the defective product Wittman is putting on the floor night after night.

Piece of cake.

Next.

Like I said. They are the Wizards

Man, this would be so much easier with another PG that was quick with great handles off the bench. Temple is more a defender. His handles are average so they struggle to get into the offense with his out there. Specially against press defense like PHX throws at you.

Quality win though.

I'm ok with Beal taking shots in the last 2 minutes...but I don't recall Wall taking a single shot in the 4th....still he played a damn good game...maybe saving energy for tomorrow?

Beal is so clutch, 7 points in the final 2 minutes. We are such a good team on the road. Now if only we could take care of our home court.

Good win, really hunkered down on defense in the second half. Wall POTG: 18 pts 12 ast 3 rebs 2 stls 1 blk 2 TOs on 6-12 (2-3 from three). After PHX drubbed Indy in their last game this is quite the win, not to mention they are a very good home team.

Our starters dominated their starters.

I understand defensive pessimism. And I kept silent with predictions before the game for the same reason. But I was surprised when so many thought Phoenix was just going walk all over us before the game because our starters are better than theirs.

That doesn't mean he should completely abstains from it in the next game. I was just perplexed by his low number of shots. I thought he might not have been 100%
