Well that was a fun game. Ross was lights out, good one for him. Rebounding was an issue again tonight though, hmm...

A couple years ago when it was rumored that the Clippers had received interest in Bledsoe for a lottery pick, Ross was one of the players that I was pretty interested in. He was only averaging 9.3 ppg on the season, but tonight's offensive onslaught will bump him up to 10.2.

He'll have to share that scoring record with Vince. Maybe this can help give him the boost needed to elevate his game a little more.

You mean last year ;) and yes, I remember. I wasn't huge on Ross, still miss Bledsoe, lol, but great game by the young man.

p.s. Originally from Ontario, but live in Alberta for the money. They have a whole street named after Gretzky, and anyone who doesn't know the man here is imprisoned. I WISH there was subway line from the west to the GTA. I probably wouldn't miss a game.

whoa, hold on son, who's judging who? i was simply curious of your passionate commute to your favorite sporting event, from what i can get out of your previous posting, isn't it your initial trash talking followed by your next post of not talking trash until the end of first quarter, a bit puzzling at best? I'm over here having a light hearted fun, and you are replying with some deep seeded hatred in your heart. perhaps an inferiority complex? it's okay if your dad was born in the 80s, i didn't really like George Michael all that much either. but back in the day, when Magic Johnson was taking his purple and piss to an annual championship, i did attend Grant High in Los Angeles area, and yes 7 dollar tickets of the Clippers at the sport arena was all i could afford back then. didn't even know we had a hockey team but as i said, in case you have some legit reading comprehension issues (again, i don't make fun of handicaps) i bought that jersey to antagonize my torontonian hockey jock cousin who sported his 2 digit IQ in the same manner someone around here lately is... hmmm. come to think of it, is that you, Elliott? when did you move to Alberta? i know your repeated concussions from playing days have been challenging, but damn dude. say hello to your sister for me. is she still on birth control? last time i saw her she had like triple D tits from side effects... just saying.

Oh boy, sorry I didn't reply sooner, I was enjoying my sig coming to fruition

What a game though eh?

A year and a half ago. Glad I didn't say "a few years" which is what I originally had lol.

Bledsoe is definitely missed. I'll root for that guy just about anywhere that he could possibly play. There are a few exceptions.

Ditto on Bled. Even if he were a Laker I would root for his own individual success as long as he never got a ring.

Hopefully our defense kicks I'm when we get home. Bucks should be a tank win.

Before the Rudy trade he was only averaging 6 ppg, and I think around 11 afterward. Not too shabby for a sophomore on a team with a potential home court playoff run.

lol ive found that to be the consensus. everyone who wanted him- fans of LAD, both Chicago teams, Seattle, now think he will be a major bust bc teh yankees got him. i expect him to be a decent #2, similar to hiroki kuroda, who we of course are both famliar with. i would be happy with that.

i don't mean to bust your balls, but if you go check out the dodger forum here in realGM, you will see that i have always been consistent on my view of Tanaka, and repeatedly said i did not want this kid on my team if the price was anywhere near what a real ace gets paid in MLB.

as great as Tanaka's stats have been in Japan, his walk to strike out ratio isn't something that makes me think he is a head and neck above Yu Darvish. in fact, maybe a head and neck below when all of his "Stuff" is accounted for. Tanaka pitched more than anybody in majors in last 30 years, counting from his high school Koshien days to the last season with the Golden Eagles where he pitched 160 pitches in a climax series in one game and came back the very next day to finish the series. he is a two pitch pitcher and his four seam is questionable at best. his splitter maybe as good as it gets, until you read that he learned his splitter from vogelsong. he doesn't possess any other pitches that can be effective in the majors.

Kuroda i like, i think the world of him and his approach to the game of baseball, and i think your Yanks are very lucky to have a guy like him on your roster. but at the same time, i make no mistake about how some players are more equipped for a particular league and some others translate better at a higher competition. just like Paul George is a better pro than a NCAA player, i think a guy like Kuroda fits better for the majors than he is with the Japanese league. same can be said about Ryu, the current dodger, versus Suk-Min Yoon of the same South Korean league who was arguably the best of that league trying to crack a MLB roster this year, isn't going to do anywhere near ryu in the MLB.

i'll co-sign that.
he wasn't big on that guy from the jump.

and the Yanks are still in for a 3rd place finish or worst.

pish posh w Ells, Beltran, McCann Tanaka they will battle for the AL East. but this is a clippers forum so i wont say more. if they are out, since they are already way over the "189" they were going for when the trade deadline comes if they need someone i thing theyll take on any stupidly large contract that will help them jump Boston.

F the sox :) and F the flakers :) see them both the same :)

Entering a hopeful tank game against the Bucks this team needs a quick recharge at home.
