Canes open up the season hosting Detroit. Canes lead 2-1 and the Red Wings tie it with a goal with 16 seconds left. Momentum with the Wings for sure. Wings with a quick OT goal to win. Crushing loss for the Canes who had this one won.

Canes with a strong game 2 win vs the Flyers. Won 2-1. 2 assists for Skinner and great goalie work by Cam's backup, 27 year old Khudobin. Great job by the young man, stopping 17/18 shots.

Canes starting strong and in 2nd in the division right now. Impressive.

Canes have lost their first and second goalies. Not good.

Ever since Skinner returned after missing a few weeks, he has been on fire. And the team is solidly in the playoff hunt. And Peters is playing well at goalie. Team is starting to gel nicely.
