Pistons 4th worst FT shooting team since 1970

Post#1 » by Q00 » Mon Jan 27, 2014 4:47 am

They put up a graphic on the Mavs broadcast and we were #4 with .667, but the #1 worst team was only .662 lol. So we are pretty much witnessing the worst FT shooting season in modern history lol

Big Ben would be proud

Can't shoot free throws, can't shoot 3's, can't defend 3's or box out. Go Pistons!!!

Free Throws are for sissies. nah.... just kidding.

It seems as though FT shooting is not a point of emphasis in Detroit... nor is defense... offense.... or winning, for that matter.

Well, some of that is just unavoidable with our lineup. We start 3 power players who shoot poorly.

The real kicker is that our perimeter players can't knock down jumpers AND they don't drive and draw fouls. That is just a brutal combination. Ideally, they would do both, but doing neither is a recipe for disaster.
