At least we were all really excited for that match. No one wants to see Randy take on Batista at WM. Maybe except Disney.

Yea that makes no sense. Any person with common sense would just come back after they were eliminated and get the person that eliminated them...

Are we really trying to make sense of the "rules" of professional wrestling now?

I know it's basically theater, but that takes it too far

I will say this though, I do trust HHH and his decision making. He does look at the big picture. And I dont think Vince is as "evil" as people think.

This really could all be part of the storyline of Daniel Bryan. Maybe he does end up winning the gold at WM and let him win it on the biggest stage.

I dont think wwe is dumb enough to have Batista main event WM against Orton or Cena one on one. Dont see it. Mania is still 70 days away, thats plenty of time to build a proper storyline.

Daniel Bryan NEEDS to take the title from Orton before hand. It's getting brutal now.

They were not ready for this crowd reaction. The WWE is not in touch with their audience right now, and it's blowing up in their face. They need to hotshot the belt to Batista, and have Bryan win some number one contender elimination match at EC and win the belt at Mania.

WM 30 is looking like a disaster already. Only feud worth watching will be
the fans vs. McMahons/writers.

You're right. They werent expecting Batista to get massively booed tonight, I certainly wasnt expecting it.

Good question. (You have a keen eye.) I just discovered the actual spelling of Wingo's first name while looking for a photo of his to use in my avatar. That's when I found out it's "Harthorne" and not "Hawthorne." I never picked up on it before. Dumb, I know.

Only thing I can think of, Sheamus returns at RR & joins the Wyatts to screw Daniel Bryan.

Bryan vs. Sheamus
Batista vs. Orton
Punk vs. HHH
Brock vs. Taker

All **** matches we've seen before this Mania ain't looking to good so far

Agreed. That looks boring and typical to me.

Once again, here's my dream scenario, and WWE has plenty of time to let it play out-

Let Bryan win the Rumble. People will be going BONKERS for that. Then, Cena beats Orton at the Rumble, and he and Bryan main event Mania. No-brainer IMO.

I'm one of those people who can't stand Cena, but I think the story line there sells itself. That's a dream match for a lot of people. The "face of the company" vs. the guy who a lot of smart fans want to be the face of the company. Just imagine an entire football stadium in New Orleans chanting YES! at Wrestlemania as he rallies against the almighty Cena during the waning moments of that match. If Bryan actually won the title that night, it would be an all-time great Mania moment. Or, that could be the moment Cena finally turns heel. Have HHH play the role of Vince, come out with a sledgehammer and screw Bryan. Cena wins, and Bryan is as over as ever. Then you have an angle involving Cena that people would actually be invested in, and when Bryan finally wins the belt from him some time after Mania, he'll be selling more shirts than Austin did (yeah right).

As for the rest of the card..

..they NEED to have a triple threat match between the members of the Shield. Everyone wants to see that, and Mania is the perfect place to do it. And it's a great way to finally break them up and allow Roman to become a star, Ambrose to break off as a top heel, and Rollins to become a singles star of his own by pulling off some incredible spots in that match. I could see that match stealing the show actually.

Rumors of Punk vs. Austin seems almost too good to be true. But I'm all for it. Would be one of those treats for the fans that only lasts for a few weeks leading up to the PPV, and ends with the 2 guys shaking hands in the ring after the match is over.

Personally, I'd rather see Brock vs. Batista, but if they wind up doing Orton vs. Batista, I guess Brock vs. Taker is the obvious way to go. My dream scenario within a dream scenario? Brock vs. Batista and Taker vs. Sting. Not impossible, so if I were WWE, I'd be pulling out all the stops to get it done. Sting said himself that Taker was the only guy he hasn't worked with that he wishes he could. No better time than now. Fans would go nuts. Could easily be the second to last match.

As for the rest of the card, who gives a f*ck? I'm praying they get Ziggler involved in something worthwhile before it gets too late. This guy is getting screwed. I think he's the best guy they have in terms of in-ring ability and they need to put him back to work. Maybe do something with Rhodes and Goldust since all three of those guys can wrestle their asses off.

Rhodes and Goldust definitely need a match at Mania and will have one, no doubt. Wrestlemania wouldn't be complete without a fun tag-match. Maybe they can do a program with the Wyatts. And that's probably me just hoping the Wyatts have nothing to do with Bryan or any of the other main event guys for the sake of preserving my dream scenario.

Del Rio should either stay home or be beaten by Sheamus in less time than Sheamus beat Bryan that one year.

Ok.. that's all I got for now.

Just remember-

Cena vs. Bryan
Taker vs. Sting
Punk vs. Austin
Reigns vs. Ambrose vs. Rollins
Brock vs. Batista

Those are 5 must-see matches that could headline any other PPV. Fingers crossed but not holding my breath.

I agree with everything you said unfortunately WWE is determined to put on the worst WM ever.

Elimination Chamber will be (IMO): John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Sheamus, Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar & Bray Wyatt.

The storyline will then break into this (IMO): Randy Orton will lose his title to Brock Lesnar, but will trigger his allowed rematch for at WM30 turning the match to a triple threat match.
Brock Lesnar vs. Batista vs. Randy Orton

Sheamus will join the Wyatts & demolish Daniel Bryan & John Cena with the Wyatt family. Setting up the Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan match & the John Cena vs Bray Wyatt match.

Does anyone here own wwe stock? If you don't, you might want to start looking at it. It's been shooting up like a rocket for the past year, mainly due to the anticipation that wwe will sign a major television deal. TV rights fees have gone through the roof for live sporting events and it looks like wwe is about to get paid from some TV network as more and more networks are looking for live programming because companies like Netflix are changing the television landscape.

I've made quite a bit with wwe stock, still holding. If this wwe network is a success, the sky's the limit for wwe. I got to admit though, its a pain in the ass being a shareholder of wwe, I hate their programming. Was watching royal rumble and was positive that Daniel Bryan would come out number 30. When he didn't, it sucked the air out of me.

The plan right now is Cena, Bryan, Sheamus, Orton, Batista, and Del Rio.

Also reading that Bryan may win at EC because of the WWE Network. More eyeballs. Hope that's the case.

I read somewhere that Batista's contract info was leaked and that he was promised to win the RR, to main event WM and to win the title.

Now, that can all be bs but knowing how Vince operates and how he gave the rock the title at last year's RR. This could be true.

That has to be BS because there's no way Batista/Orton is going to go last at WrestleMania.

No way the WWE can work like that. All these years I've been under the impression that the contracts establish appearances and copyright stuff. What they do with you is something else. I could be wrong, though.
