Great comparison with Turner. Only difference is how Turner has handles , allowing him to play Point Forward.

My friends in Philly kinda think that's more of a problem. They say he needs the ball to be
effective, but that he's not a PG. Same guys grew to really dislike Iggy so take whatever stock
you may in any of this.

I don't like the comparison at all. Turner is a ball-dominant wing that seems incapable of playing successfully without the ball and the even bigger issue is that he struggles to create quality shots for himself when the ball is in his hands. Turner & Nick Young are two of the best in the league at creating tough contested mid-range jumpers than they make probably less than a 3rd of the time. Porter is nothing like Turner. Porter worked so well at G-Town without the ball. Porter's success comes off the ball. Any success Turner has is when he's playing defacto PG.

Not to mention Turner is still terrible and is still a bust. Averaging 19, 6 & 4 sounds impressive until you realize his WS48 is still only .030 and his offensive rating is still an offensive 98.

Read this after my last post...so it sounds like you agree with my Philly buddies about Turner.
Ball dominant but not PG-like in the sense of creating shots for his teammates.
