I think Markieff will command a 3-4 year deal, with a probably a little over 5 mil a year.

Looks fair for his production (6M sounds strident, tho), but if you spend relevant money on them, you need to play them, and I believe that we could find a better combo of athleticism and skill considering the amount of draft picks we have.

Those are the type of deals that I believe the FO should avoid. MLE like on guys who you can replace easily. That's not an efficient way to build a roster when you have all the flexibility and future assets in the world.

On a personal level I've come to really love them on my team, but we can't lose sight from what it really matters, and sooner or later, decisions will need to be made, and if things doesn't change dramatically, this fan has made up his mind.

To me, they are a package deal it seems. They play better on the same team. And I am not sure two Morri are worth, after the 2014-2015 season, something like $6m per guy or over $10m

I think you call Philly and offer them both for Thaddeus Young.

I would be happy signing Markieff to a Taj Gibson type deal, if he keeps this up and keep showing improvement. Marcus? Probably around 2-3 million a year.

You know Taj's deal is $9.5M per, right?

Who knows what to think of them anymore. So inconsistent and they swap between each other who plays well and who doesn't. Hard to know what they are worth..

It's about $8.5m per guaranteed. But that's way overpaying for Kieff. I think MLE is fair for a young big.

I like both of them, but their inconsistency sucks. If we got the right trade opportunity, I'd take it. But if we pack the twins up with some picks, I want a proven star in return. I don't want to settle for an inconsistent player in return (Thad Young). Then we are just treading water.

Markieff has been super consistent since being benched 4 or 5 games back. I think he became complacent after the POTW award. Horny noticed and disciplined him accordingly. Hoping that maintains for the rest of the year. Horny is the coach to get through to Keef, if there is a coach to get through to him. Hopefully, that rubs off on Marcus, but keeping Marcus around for $2-3M is a small price to pay if Keef stays consistent and demolishes other teams' benches like he has been lately.

Kieff has been good for a bunch of games in a row other times this season besides his POTW, but his current streak, after his season lows against NY and Det, is a major reason as to why we've lost only two games lately.

I see it as a sign of how this team can play with a consistent 20ppg threat at PF, but he goes up and down too frequently to be counted on for more than off the bench, as his body won't allow him to score against some types.

When his shots and turnaround jumpers are falling it's beautiful because he is pretty skilled, but he'd need Faried's motor to be a surefire keeper to me.
