I would probably trade Bogdanovic's rights at this point for Lowry, because I'm unsure if he'll even come over next off season, and he has hit a serious bad patch in the last month. He's really struggling right now. Ujiri will want more but I'd probably do Terry + Bogdanovic for Lowry.

So would I. But I don't see how Terry is "more" in addition to Bogs. He would be just their replacement guard. And I doubt anyone would want Terry....but it would be hella nice to see him go.

Lowry is playing slightly better than dwill now and he would be great insurance if dwill went down again.

If we're going to have Pierce and AK next year, I don't see how Bogs will get any burn.

I would rather see Bogs go than Plumlee now. I wouldn't offer any picks either.

Lowry would be that offensive explosion off the bench and would allow dwill and Livingston to be starters. Then bring Lowry off bench for Livingston, let Lowry and Dwill play with each other for bit, then sub out dwill for Anderson.

Close games with your dwill, Lowry, Johnson, Pierce, Garnett lineup.

first of all lowry is playing a lot better than dwill right now.. and second, if you're trading for lowry to have him as your backup, you're asking for a lot of trouble. The primary reason previous teams traded him was due to the fact that he doesnt want to come off the bench.. mix that with a rookie coach and yea i dont see that ending too ideally

Even With Deron having a terrible year he's still not far off from Lowry's "All Star" year statistically. On the surface, it might seem like Lowry is doing much better, but looking at the #s, it's marginal... like 3ppg and 2 rpg better in 6 more minutes of action a night. Team records are very similar too.

But I agree that Lowry is starter quality and wouldn't/shouldn't be coming off the bench.

its true that the numbers arent that far off but lowry still has the edge there.. not to mention his impact on the team is far greater with less talent. If we dont look at the numbers for a sec, Using yesterdays game for example since we both witnessed it, you saw how Lowry made the game winning pass as opposed to dwill's game throwing pass. i've been a critic of lowry in the past and given any other year i'd take Dwill over Lowry but this year he's really playing good smart basketball.

I would hope Lowry would understand that this is a veteran team with established players and I doubt Garnett or Pierce would allow him to throw tantrums or act out. The Nets have the 4th best bench in the league, so if Lowry did come off the bench he could probably have the largest role on the team.

Lowry wouldnt need to come off the bench. start him in place of livingston or anderson or dwill

Lowry/dwill/JJ/PP/KG

or if you want to keep dwill on the bench as a super 6th man:

Lowry/Livingston or anderson/jj/pp/kg
