He should be fired but he won't because we'll make the playoffs even though he isn't maximizng the roster at all. Seriously, I'd take Eddie Jordan over Witless.
Lets not get carried away now. Wittman has his issues, but he is better then EFJ. For starters, he coaches the team to play defense, even if they don't always do it, they do often enough.
And its so Randy to then do this.
http://www.monumentalnetwork.com/videos ... game-12214http://www.csnwashington.com/basketball ... ctive-playHe gets whats wrong. And he addressed it. He even went off which personally I liked. He ever took it up with Wall which is the right thing to do. He is teaching and he addressed the issues.
The problem is, why couldn't he address these things before the game. Why not do it during the game. Either could have affected this game. Doing it after only affects the following games. That the pre game talking to. That the talking to you give them when you call a time out early in the game when you see things going wrong. That when you call another time out if they didn't fit it.
I would love to know what Randy does pregame to get these guys focuses because that little rant after the game sounds like a great pregame rant to challenge them to focus on the issue.
But that follows suit. Randy isn't preemptive and he doesn't adjust quick enough. And that's the problem. That's why I assign blame to him for several loses this year. Because its a coaches job to do what it needed to win the games, not just address or correct things after them. And he still doesn't sub Booker, Ves and Kevin properly.
It's with in Randy's reach to be a good coach. I guess the coach needs a coach. Who is consulting with Randy to make him better ? Is that EGs job ? If so, he isn't doing it.
