So we're keeping our starting line-up together huh? I'll pass on that every time.

Billups' team option for next season should not be used. CV or Stuckey could still be involved in a trade. Monroe might be traded as well, considering his agent will be seeking a max contract. I'm sick of Bynum... and Jerebko needs to be shipped out for a fresh start... I think he deserves it.

I like the idea of Frye and Morrow.

Man, if we had just waited one season to grab the right free agents, we could have been better off.

Kyle Lowery would be a perfectly fine starter, and guys like Shaun Livingston, Grevis Vasquez and Jameer Nelson would be perfectly viable backup options, or we could have even gone after Bledsoe or Thomas as RFAs. We'd be much better off with some combination of these guys instead of Jennings and Bynum.

Heck, we could have signed Nick Young for pennies instead of Josh Smith, and despite his crazyness we would have been much better off. In fact, if we move Smith and he declines his player's option, I wouldn't mind taking a run at him. Or Alan Anderson, for that matter. Neither of them are starter material, but they'd at least give us a competent set of SFs/SGs who can shoot decently enough to spread the floor and can stay in front of their man.

For that matter, we could have simply waited a season and spent our money on Luol Deng to fill the SF spot. Say next year we're starting Lowery/KCP/Deng/Monroe/Dre, how much better are we? Sure, that's not a contender until Dre hits his prime, but we'd at least have some smart ballers who can play defense on our team, not a pair of brain-dead chuckers who can't defend their position.

I would kill for that lineup right now.

I agree fully. Morrow and frye offer three poor shooting this team desperately needs

I'd rather trade Monroe but I don't think joe finds a deal he likes which means Monroe will get resigned even though i don't want it. So I'm just trying to be real and thnk of players who we can add to compliment our weakest area which is 3 pt shooting

Me too, but surely Dumars would put Deng as PG and Lowry as SF... You know, is Dumars! Fit ain't nothing for him.

I want Lance Stephenson. He's 24, has strong handles and playmaking ability for a 2 guard and we'd snatch him from the Pacers. We should be in a position we could offer him a deal in the $8-$10 mil range with Monroe on the cap hold, then we can use Monroe's bird rights to resign Greg.

So presumably you also want to ship out KCP? I mean, he's not playing SF and he's a starting caliber player.

I like Pope, but signing Lance would mean that we've got a real asset to trade finally, and not just hoping that someone will take Smith off of our hands.

KCP's got 3 more years on his rookie deal. He's shown flashes but isn't a sure thing by any means. I don't see why we couldn't give him a bit of time to pan out. I think Lance could be a starting 2/backup 1.

Rome wasn't built in a day and we aren't suddenly going to be a title contender overnight. We should be accumulating as many young assets as possible, hope to find a gem and/or an opportunity to consolidate (ie when Houston got Harden).

If we go to play with KCP as SG, we need a SF who can move the ball and pass it. Hayward, Turner or a guy like these.
