Noah is one of the most underrated players in the league. That guy is a beast. I would take him on my team any day.

still keeping it close though. Bar the couple of silly turnovers.

Would be nice to have tony or marco go off on a tear right about now though :D

Belinelli looks like he is lumbering :( He is playing too many minutes with all the injuries.
The announcers are talking about how his shooting pct. has nosedived the last 4 games.

Yeah you can tell he's hurting somewhere, got the tape on his shoulder etc... Tony has some ankle thing on too.
I don't see where we're gunna get our points from in the 4th. Perimiter is lacking and the paint is being locked down by the bulls.

Time for Timmy to turn back the clocks and drop 30 on these bitches.

Something is wrong when the Bulls look more athletic than we do.

Well, that was God-awful. Sure we have injuries, but that was a poor effort all around. Chicago's defense was great and made us look real old. They do that to a lot of teams. We played defense with our arms and not our feet and Chicago seemed to get every loose ball. Guys like Joseph, De Colo and Baynes have a real opportunity here that they are not using. Joseph and Baynes look completely useless lately. We are asking Belinelli to do too much. I predict he will be the next one on the injury list.

Why? Even when both teams are healthy, they are more athletic than us. Hell, Carlos Boozer is more athletic than any of our bigs.

Anyways, this looks to me a lot like the Houston game. We got beat up on rebounds. 8 more offensive rebounds. And we're really lacking playmakers right now.

Also on Marco Bellinelli, I don't quite see his so call strength on running pick and rolls so far. It doesn't look like a strength of his. Mainly, he doesn't have the ability to change and speeds and get to the rim. Sometimes he makes great passes but a lot of times it doesn't result into anything. His greatest strength IMO lies in his spot up 3 point shooting and his ability to move without the ball and put up shots near the rim. But his ability to do anything on the dribble doesn't look to be above average.

I admit that with the injuries, I was looking for him to take on more of a scoring/playmaking role so we can see how he would do in his Manu-role. I'm disappointed. He's getting the ball more, he's handling it a whole lot more, but he has trouble doing anything with it. Even when you look at his points the last few games, he isn't able to create his own shots. It's mostly from moving without the ball and getting open 3 point shots.

Anyways, just wanted to share that as we learned about him more and more.

Also, this is our extended look on Jeffers and Nando as they were inserted on the starting lineup.

I like Jeffers' hustle, but he's way too short to be a SF, and that seems to be his natural position. He doesn't look like a shooter and has very limited ballhandling skills. He's a 6'5'' SF who hustles. He's Keith Bogans without the shooting ability.

And if Nando gets waived or traded, I don't care anymore. He's fallen off so much from being a mini-Manu last year to not being able to do anything at all anymore. Good vision but turnover prone, which is useless. No athleticism. Atleast he was a tall PG before, but now he's simply an average height SG with below average athletisicm. Can't make shots whether it's in the paint, midrange, or 3 pointers.

I try not to be too critical during these kinda times but if we're honest our bench SHOULD be beating that bulls team 9 times out of 10.

Kings next. leggooooo

I hear you. Our bench was playing so well earlier in the year. They haven't taken a step back, more like 3 steps back it seems. Asking guys to do too much when they aren't capable is part of the problem but with all the injuries, that's what has to happen.
I'm confident Popovich will get them playing better rather than just going through the motions like most other NBA coaches do(cough, Mo. Cheeks). January is the tough stretch of a long NBA season and we are due to struggle for a bit. Every team does at some point during a season so I wont hit the panic button just yet. Hopefully that beat down we took gets the team re-focused.
