If you say so then it must be true.

Actually, there are two reasons: Gregg Popovich and Tim Duncan. Oh and the Suns swept the Spurs in 2010.

Suns could use a talented center in Monroe to pair up Bledsoe with. I don't see Len being your future starter. Wha say you?

What about a 3-way deal with Nets and Bobcats

Nets: Smith, Stuckey, Datome

Bobcats: Lopez

Pistons: Ben Gordon, our 1st round pick back, Jason Terry

Nets get two quality players for an injured one.

Bobcats trade Ben Gordon's expiring contract for Lopez, who can easily play along side Jefferson, if not they can package him with MKG or Biyombo for someone better in the offseason.

Detroit gets their pick back and our old friend BG. We start Jennings - KCP - Singler - Monroe - Drummond and tank.

We could also completely cut out Bobcats and do the same deal but with Lopez and Terry coming our way. Even if we resign Monroe we would have Monroe and Lopez on a two year deal as two very valuable trade pieces.

How about this?

Detroit out: Josh Smith, Cv(dnp), Datome + 1st round pick.

Detroit in: Carlos Boozer, Taj Gibson.

We get a guy we can cut after the season in boozer, and a perfect 3rd big man for the future in Taj gibson.

Why for chicago? They actually upgrade with josh smith at the four, and can make a run at melo (if he's willing to take a pay cut). Even if that doesn't work out they essentially get a boozer upgrade for cheaper and a 1st rounder for taj.

Im resigned to the fact we have to give up a 1st rounder to unload smoove.

Nets are getting better, they don't go to trade nobody, I think the only 2 trades which have sense is to Charlotte Bobcats or to New York Knicks:

CHA Smith x Gordon + Our 1st pick or Smith x Gordon + MKG
NYK Smith + Stuckey x Stoudamire + Shumpert

I think they are very easy trades to make. And we could get a lot better with these movements.
I trade Jennings too, but this is a harder trade.

What we could offer for Dragic? I think he'd be a fantastic PG in our team.

Stuckey + ???? x Dragic (They can get a huge cap for this summer, and sign Lance Stephenson who could be AWESOME playing next to Bledsoe)

Jennings+Smith x Stoudamire+Shumpert (They could get better than now and we take off the Smith salary)

I don't think this trades are too much realistic, but sounds good right?

OJ Mayo for Villanueva's expiring contract.

Does Dumars turn that down or try to save his job?

I think the bucks would have to add some value.
Right now KCP and Stuckey are doing a fairly good job at SG and Dumars didn't seem too interested in OJ in the summer, so i'd be surprised if he would do that trade.

OJ Mayo makes no sense for the Pistons, unless you are doing that deal and coughing up a 1st round pick AND the Pistons are trading Stuckey for assets.

Again, why are you here?

This is a Pistons trade thread discussing trade options for Monroe. You are a Suns fan who has no interest in Monroe, and the only thing you've contributed to this thread is saying that you don't like him a hundred times. If you don't like him then leave. Why are you here discussing where a player might be traded to that you don't even like?

So its more like we are the ones discussing it and you are trolling.

The last time I checked it's an open forum and anyone can post here. I've never said that I don't like Monroe. I saw Pistons fans discussing a Monroe trade to the Suns and all I said was that I don't think he would be a good fit in Phoenix and you got all defensive. If anyone is trolling, it's you.

I just don't believe there's any scenario where Charlotte relinquishes the rights to Detroit's pick back to them. It would be nice, though.

With OKC rolling and Jackson looking like the real deal at PG....would they consider:

Westbrook and Lamb

for

Jennings/Monroe/Datome

They become:

Jackson / Jennings / Fisher
Sefolosha / Jennings / Roberson
Durant / Datome
Ibaka / Collison / PJ3
Monroe / Perkins / Adams

as low ball offer as they come ;)
take out lamb and they wouldn't
take out westbrook, and they wouldn't
westbrook for drummond? probably wouldn't either
unless westbrook is red flaged, then pistons shouldn't

all that said, Monroe would look good on Thunder, but is probably to expensive for them going forward and they wouldn't give fair value for a rental
I doubt there's a deal to be made between the two teams

Whispers of Kyrie wanting out of Cleveland, I know most of you wouldn't want to make such a trade but just to "what if" for a minute, is there any kind of Drummond/Irving swap that you would be ok with? Maybe a 3-team trade?

Boom. That's #1. Two more to go.
