Great, a potentially motivated Bynum coming off the bench for Hibbert.

Interesting that the pacers actually went for it. Makes sense for them, depending on the money that was given. Should the heat probably have jumped at it? Yeah, but i doubt they truly wanted bynum anyway.

I like our stance. If you aren't willing to take the minimum (what can the Pacers really offer?) then eat some poop. The agent is trying to use Indy against Miami, to force our hand, but it isn't going to happen. We'll do it with or without you Bynum....and agent.

Just like everyone said Beasley would be bad for the Heat, right?

Can they offer him more than the minimum? If not I'd try and trade mason or waive him to sign him for the minimim just to keep him away from the Pacers. You got to remember last year they had Hibbert, West, and Mahimi killing us. This year it could be those guys plus Bynum AND Scola with Danny Granger off the bench. Bynum would be nice to have as a back up to Bosh, Andersen, and Oden, IF he's willing to take the minimum.

signing someone just to keep him away from another team is stupid, and a losers attitude. If we dont want bynum, dont sign him. Its that simple, who cares where he goes.

Hey, Pacers fan here, I just wanna say if Bynum signs here, it won't be for money, as Indy can also only offer the minimum like Miami can. Interesting move

Riley's reluctance just cost us any shot we had to go back to the finals...

Call it what you want, taking a weapon away from your main rival is pretty smart to me.

That's what I'm wondering? Is he going to them for the minimum? Because we can offer more, and don't? That's a b**** move by the agent and player. If that's the motivation, then I'd love to take the Pacers down even more this year.

the heat can actually offer more than the min, but refuse to do it. They have the mmle still in their back pocket. Just being clear

Well if he wants to sign with Indiana in spite of us not paying him more when we can then whatever. He obviously has different priorities than us.

Hes not here because Riley and SPo likely didn't want him bad enough, they are making a mistake, regardless of how it pans out. They better hope he doesn't sign there.
