The Pacers got David West, Roy Hibbert, and Danny Granger to keep Bynum in check. Pacers are scary if they can get a motivated Bynum. If.

Pacers are the perfect situation for (2014) Bynum: (i) probably the only offense based on Cs and PFs who posts (ii) a legit contender and (iii) he will be asked to fill the same role Hilbert does so no need to spend much time figuring out what he will have to do on the floor.

I feel like Vogel is up to the daunting task of keeping Bynum in his proper place. Something that a touchy-feely coach like Mike Brown would never be able to do

The discussion's moot, it's just them playing keep-away with Miami anyway.

Pat, if you're reading. You better get on that.. and start making some calls, and do what you gotta do.

Larry Bird won't put up with that mess either.

If worst comes to worst...They could just bench Bynum for Mahini...and there's nothing like going from being arguably the second best player at your position to getting benched for some loser back up center.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

Indiana already have the best frontcourt in NBA. I very much doubt Bynum will be able to improve the Pacers' frontcourt if at all. Essentially, the risk of Bynum being a locker room cancer is real whereas the returns for having him at the back-up C is minimal. So, I am very skeptical on this. I will believe it when I see it. Until then, this is nothing more than a rumour.

Bynum has asked the Pacers to provide list of best bowling alleys in town.

It's pretty obvious that the Pacers have no real need for Bynum. They have no use for him; not for the short term, not for the long term. The only reason they're signing him is to keep him away from Miami. That is the ONLY reason.

Just for show, they might give him a few garbage minutes here and there. But what they really want to do is put him in the inactive list as soon as the ink on his contract is dry.

Every conversation have with the Pacers and every assurance they receive from Bynum the Cavs had and got a few months ago. This clown has managed to con yet another team to give him money.

Best frontcourt in the NBA? I guess if you go by record. Other beast frontcourts that come to mind..

(no particular order)
DJ - Griffin
Bogut - Lee
Zbo - M. Gasol
Drummond - Monroe
Horford - Millsap (when healthy)
