We could add KCP and Singler
Warriors add Curry, Thompson, and Barnes

LOL
But maybe just add Barnes with it. Could be:
Detroit Pistons get: Ben Gordon, Harrison Barnes, Mareese Speights
Charlotte Bobcats get: Rodney Stuckey, Charlie Villanueva, Kent Bazemore
Golden State Warriors get: Ramon Sessions, Greg monroe, Jeff Adrien

Nah, the Warriors need Curry and Thompson. But Barnes could still be a threat here, he can shoot 3's, mid-range game and attacks the rim often. So, tell me, was my proposed trade (which includes Barnes) good?

But why?
Because Harrison Barnes is showing he might be lucky enough to one day be Luol Deng...

Boston doesn't want Green anymore, and Bogans is on a bad contract (5mil per year for the next 3 years including this one). They pair Smith and Rondo, drop a bad contract and get rid of a player they don't want anymore. We drop Smith, get to keep Moose, and have a quality starting SF. Then we'd just have Jennings left to get rid of.
This season is the only guaranteed season on Bogans contract.
He was added to the Brooklyn trade simply to make the money work.
He's essentially a $5mill expiring.

Detroit Pistons get: Ben Gordon, Josh Mcroberts, Mareese Speights (with some TPE from GSW)
Charlotte Bobcats get: Rodney Stuckey, Charlie Villanueva, Kent Bazemore
Golden State Warriors get: Ramon Sessions, Greg monroe
This is just my opinion though.
This is officially the worst Monroe trade i've seen and theres been so many.

That Josh Smith doesn't fit on a roster that already has Monroe and Drummond.
That Ben Gordon doesn't fit on a roster with Rip and Stuckey.
That CV is a no defense chucker with no heart.
I'll gladly take a GM who does the obvious common sense move instead of the "positions don't matter" moron in our front office.
Yeah but what I'm saying is, Uriji has developed this reputation as some sort of godly GM on the back of blindly obvious moves. Nothing he's pulled off has really taken any skill or cunning in my estimation.
He managed to get moves that were obviously good for the team by knowing where to look, who to deal with, and how to negotiate. I've seen no evidence that Joe D has the ability to do that.
Just because an obvious move was made doesn't mean it simply fell into their lap. That's nonsense.

Ujiri was able to trade Rudy Gay without surrendering a draft pick in a wildly deep draft. He was able to move Bargnani AND get a first round pick in return. If you think Ujiri is making "obvious" moves, sure, and he's getting optimal value out of his deals as well.

If you think about it Gore could have easily canned Joe and hired Uriji before Toronto got him , sure would have liked to see what he could have done with this past summer.

You act like Gay is some terrible player like Gordon was, to where you need to give up a #1 pick just to move him. Totally different scenarios.
Uriji might be the most overrated GM in the league along with Daryl Morey. Just because a GM makes a couple good moves and puts together a .500 team doesn't mean he's a great GM.

Does Dumars turn that down or try to save his job?
OJ statistically looks like he's channeling Ben Gordon from his Pistons days.
I want to, nay, I must believe we'd never make such a move.

I'd still do that trade. His cap hit is marginal.

okc gets their low post guy and a much better complimentary player to durant than westbrook in monroe, and they are able to save a bunch of money too without having to amnesty anybody.
we get a star 2-way PG to lead an uptempo offense and spearhead a legitimate defensive squad along with KCP, smith, and drummond. perry jones is intriguing as all hell too.
i highly doubt OKC does this deal, but if they ever shop westbrook, this is literally the only win-now move i would support from dumars at the moment lol.

There is literally no deal at all we could make to acquire Westbrook, Drummond, Monroe and KCP wouldn't get it done.
