My free time is limited, which is why I did not volunteer. That said, this is a good project and when I've had the time I've followed along and tried to give input. Whenever you need a 9th vote I'd be willing to do it, but I wouldn't want to commit to you guys and then not be able to weigh in for a week.

The current "games" have been going on literally for a week. Is there a particular time frame?
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

No, we never set a time limit. I was hoping it would go fast enough that we wouldn't need to, but it's been slow unfortunately.

Maybe PM judges that haven't voted.

Good idea, I'll do that.

I PM'd TMACFORMVP, I don't think he's been very active on the PC board recently, so he's not up to date. Sideshow Bob, I don't think needs a PM, he's active on the board and should go over the threads soon. penbeast0 I notice commented on my match up recently so he didn't require a PM from me to remind him either. ronnymac0 said he was still debating his vote for my match up. Doctor MJ has commented plenty on the O_6/batmana match up but I don't think he voted officially yet, tho I get the impression he's leaning towards batmana. I think that's everyone who hasn't voted yet.

I actually like the pace that this is going. I liked the pace the draft was going too.

We should keep a deadline of sorts.

This shouldn't take 8-9 days per matchup, come on....................

It's actually the 4th day for these match ups right now (they were locked, opened again on the 29th), but I agree with what you're saying. What kind of timeline is reasonable?

I think 3 days is more than enough.

Alright, then I think it's up to the judges to self-police themselves into such a deadline. I can't force them to vote within 3 days. I wish they all voted in a day or two, but I can't really do much about it unfortunately.

Agreed. I don't want to sound strict, but I think that if you actually wanted to participate in this project (I'm talking about both GM's and judges), you somehow have to be able to find some time to take care of it. I'm sure that most (if not all) of you guys know basketball so well that writing a gameplan or a rebuttal wouldn't consume too much time or effort...

Both match ups decided. Narigo and O_6 move on. Time for the 3-6 match ups.

As soon as those match ups are unlocked and stickied we can get started on them.

Note: Notanoob changed years for some players, but I couldn't edit the post in his match up because it was locked. So, the years posted there are not the final ones. I'll edit them correctly when the match up unlocks.

Maybe also Laimbeer? He's been very active in these threads over the last week or so...I don't know if he'd like to be a judge tho. I'm saying that because batmana stated that he won't be able to be a judge for the next week, and he'll join the judges panel in the later rounds, IIRC.

I thought batmana meant he would judge starting this round. Or did he mean the semi finals? If he meant the next round as in semi finals, then that's good too. Laimbeer hasn't volunteered so I'm not sure if he's interested in becoming a judge officially.

I'm not sure either. Well, whatever, I'm just giving loose suggestions here.
